Dr Adrian Bauze has been serving as a hip and knee orthopaedic surgeon in Adelaide Since 2004. Specializing in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and arthroscopy of the hip and knee, he boasts a track record of over 6000 hip and knee procedures. As a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Dr Bauze is dedicated to relieving pain and restoring function to his patients' hips and knees. His passion extends to utilizing cutting-edge technology in surgery, particularly computers and robotic technology. Dr Adrian Bauze meticulously plans surgeries, emphasizing his commitment to precision and successful outcomes. Beyond his surgical practice, he enjoys part-time work dealing with sports injuries in elite athletes, serving as a match-day doctor for the Norwood Football Club in the SANFL. His expertise encompasses hip and knee replacement surgery, arthroscopy of the knee, and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. His regular surgical activities take place at Sportsmed and Calvary Hospitals. Emphasizing the importance of short. and long-term outcomes in surgery, he pioneered the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathway at Sportsmed Hospital in 2020. Additionally, he chairs the Clinical Outcomes and Audit Committees at Sportsmed. His educational background includes completing a Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, a Sports Surgery and Arthroplasty Fellowship at Sportsmed in Adelaide in 2005, a Hip Arthroplasty Fellowship in Exeter, UK, in 2004, and achieving a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orth) in January 2004.
