dr goel has been really good for me. She challenges me constantly rather than just agreeing with me. She has also prescribed a few medications others haven't and trusted me to do the right thing. She does look at her clock but she does have to stay on time. I feel confident that if I had a breakdown she would help me manage it. She is realistic about what goals I have. I'm a better person as she challenged me and I'm glad I met her. She is expensive but I normally reach the Medicare threshold and the downsides mentioned don't bother me. Id recommend her to others.

I’ve been seeing Aarti for 6 years now. During those years, I have found her to be the most compassionate, kind, and warm person I have ever met. She consistently goes way above and beyond to ensure that I am ok, and she never loses patience with me. Aarti has shown up for me through some very difficult times, and she has, without doubt, saved my life on more than one occasion. Aarti is an exceptional psychiatrist, and I could confidently say the best in Adelaide.

Aarti is one of the kindest and most personable doctors I have ever met. She has a wealth of knowledge and impeccable treatment practices, however I find her strongest asset to be her ability to connect with her patients on a human level many doctors struggle with. She is warm and kind and her care for her patients is above any expectations. I feel so lucky to have Aarti as my treating psychiatrist, and can say with complete assurance she is easily one of the top psychiatrists in Australia.

Peter has been so helpful since I began therapy a few years ago. I understand people have different experiences however some of these reviews read as vitriolic temper tantrums. In my experience Peter has always been kind in approach. I’ve never felt forced to go faster that my pace, talk about things I don’t want to and/or take medication. Peter will talk of pros/cons of medications relating to my needs but the decision is mine. Post pandemic “self diagnosing” is out of control. IMO Peter wouldn’t dismiss anyone in need (people don’t like to hear anything contrary to their own beliefs at the best of times), Peter is a credit to the profession.

Gratitude fills my heart for Peter Tyllis, an extraordinary psychiatrist who navigates the complexities of mental health with skill, expertise, incredible knowledge and compassion. Together with his colleague John Symons, they supported me with to with 5 weeks in at the Adelaide Clinic with 13 rounds of ECT and medication change. His care and guidance saved my life when the world became a dark place. I feel very blessed to have him in my corner.

Peter has been excellent. I've seen him for a few years and was really stable for most of that time once he got me on the right medication. Not that long ago I got really unwell and he was able to get me in to the clinic for a couple of weeks to sort everything out. He was so dedicated and I think he would have come in six times a week! Thank you Peter for helping me see the positive side of life again.
