Dr Collins is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, Australia and a conjoint Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle. Dr Nicholas Collins has been involved in education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as research projects focusing on congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and interventional cardiology.

My sister started out as a patient with Dr Garry Warner back in 2012 until he’s retirement in 2019 for her 3x heart conditions 2 of which she was born with 29 years ago , Now both my mum and my sister both have started seeing Dr Nicholas Collins both these cardiologists absolutely amazing professional and caring doctors we couldn’t ask for better cardiac care then at Newcastle Paediatric n Adult Heart Centre, I know they’re very much taken care off going into the future and pretty much all front desk staff are beautiful people as well, I was sent here also last year for a echocardiogram to check my heart due to my Occipital seizure disorder which is blackout seizures and i’am thankful to report that do not have any cardiac issues and nothing in this area to explain my seizures and I know that If I ever need a cardiologist in the future that I will be well looked after by Dr Collins and his friendly and professional staff, We look forward to seeing you all again in their new location / premises in 2021 , I thank you for looking after mum and my sister, I highly recommend NPAAHC to anyone, Thank you and love Aimee Stromeier.
