ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL REVIEWS
St Paul's Cathedral, opened in Jan.1891 is an Anglican cathedral in Melbourne. It is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Melbourne and the seat of the Archbishop of Melbourne, who is also the metropolitan archbishop of the Province of Victoria. A must-visit when in Melbourne. Great tourist spot.
Very nice architecture and is just in front of flinders station. Inside was very solemn, you can tour around and souvenir shops also available but always pay respect to those who went there to pray.
We visited the cathedral two times and joined the evening prayer on Friday. It was lovely to listen to the pipe organ and the choir. I and my friend especially enjoyed the gift shop with a lot of catholic accessories and brought back some of them to make necklaces. We are thankful for the staff’s kind assistance.

St Patrick's Cathedral stands as a renowned religious landmark in Melbourne. Built along a traditional east-west axis, symbolizing the belief in resurrection, the church comprises side aisles, a sanctuary housing seven chapels, and sacristies. In 1851, an architect was commissioned to commence the construction of the church building, which concluded in 1939, along with additional structures. Regarded as one of Melbourne's architectural marvels, St Patrick's Cathedral exudes a powerful presence on the city grid's edge, maintaining its significant role as the principal church of the archdiocese and the heart of Catholic life. It serves as a testament to the dignity of baptism, the bond with Christ, and belonging to His community, embracing a distinct character.

ST PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL REVIEWS
Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Melbourne is dedicated to St Patrick, the pioneering Irish bishop. The cathedral is built on east–west axis, with the altar at the eastern end, symbolising belief in the second coming of Christ. The plan is in the style of a Latin cross, consisting of a nave with side aisles and a sanctuary with seven chapels, and sacristies. Dedicated in 1851 and consecrated in 1897, it is built in Gothic style with majestic towers and high arches. Interior had a golden glow from the stained glass windows.
A truly remarkable architecture masterpiece. The gothic style cathedral was so beautiful our jaws dropped the moment we stepped in. The stained glass and fine detailing inside and outside captured our hearts. We would highly recommend visiting this cathedral if you are in Melbourne.
A place of worship for everyone, or if you just want to pay respect to your past loved ones. The architecture of this cathedral is amazing on the outside and inside. A place to visit if coming to Melbourne or to see if you already live here it's a must do.

ST FRANCIS CHURCH REVIEWS
First ever Catholic Church I visited in Melbourne. Ambiance is peaceful even though it’s located in the center of the City. A church that you might want to visit when you’re in town. There is Catholic Book Shop just next to the church.
One of the most beautiful churches, I have been to. This church was built between 1841 and 1845 and is the oldest Catholic Church in Victoria. It has regular mass services throughout the day.
Beautiful church. I attended the Filipino mass service. I could understand a little. Beautiful singing by the choir.
