Waterworks Reserve is a Serene, leafy reserve area featuring various walking trails, picnic areas and playgrounds. It was first built in the 1860s. The tree-shaded lawns and children's playgrounds in Waterworks are widely known for picnics and barbecues. Site 1 in the park is a sheltered site suitable for 15 adults. Also, there is an uncovered section for 15 people with a barbecue and water tap. Site 2 is suitable for 25 adults. The site is intended for larger groups if the exposed portion of the site is used. There are eight more sites available for visitors. There are three barbecue sites that are allocated on a first-come basis.

CASCADES TRACK

Cascades Track has a network of tracks and fire trails. The arched stone bridge was built at the first creek crossing to commemorate Peter Degraves, the founder of Cascade Brewery. The trail is ideal for walking and riding a bike. Visitors can see wildlife and numerous wallaby runways that cross the track. Cascades Track allows dogs on a lead. The track moves across the rivulet, and the Moss-covered trees make it a beautiful hike. The track is also perfect for beginners to advance. Visit Cascades Track and enjoy an interesting walkway.

Hobart Rivulet Park is a significant Rivulet Park, which runs from the slopes of Mount Wellington to the edge of the town. It acts as an excellent walking and cycling corridor for passive, active and commuter users. The trail in this park has a gentle uphill grade, and it is well suited for bikes and dogs on the lead. Hobart Rivulet Park provides a track along the river with a BBQ area and a few seating areas. The trails are well maintained. The park has Shade trees, Picnic tables, and Recreational facilities. Its easy grade walk with beautiful scenery is suitable for all levels of fitness. Hobart Rivulet Park is a great place to get out of the wind.
