3 Best Bars in Hobart TAS

Such a great pub within walking distance of Salamanca. So glad I came here. Even on a cold night, there were fires and heaters all outside and plenty of places to sit. The pub itself is just like a house or it is a house. Go inside it's like heading to a mates place except it has an exceptional wine and craft beer list. I loved it so much, I even came back later in the day. There is even an old bus in the backyard that is all set up with tables and cosy lighting. I left no rating for food as I didn't have any nor did I even look at what was on the menu. I was purely there for the beer. I would suggest this is a must go when in Hobart if you don't mind a drink or two.

What a relaxing enjoyable and funky place to meet with mates or just sit and chill with your partner after a day of walking around Hobart. The burgers were beautiful and chips, fresh. Single barrel beer so they are always changing their labels.

Just went in for beer, so can’t comment on the food. A busy bar set above the Salamanca district. It feels like this is where the locals go. The range of interesting micro brews is great. The feel of the place from the novel bus “outdoor” seating, to the cosy fireplace warmed front room was great. The beer was excellent.

Best restaurant in Hobart - and best restaurant I’ve EVER been to. ITS GOOD WHOLESOME FOOD, good produce, well made, and flavourful. No ridiculous show off menu additions or being different for the sake of it. All the waiters and waitresses were great and all smiled all night. Luke called me because he thought we were late and wanted to check up - however it was an error in the system and he was fabulous about it. It made our anniversary wonderful. A big list of cocktails also. The share plate of desert is great.

We had a wonderful fine dining experience at Rockwall Bar and Grill, right in the heart of Hobart. The ambiance was elegant, and the food was simply outstanding. The Tasmanian Lamb Backstrap was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and a true delight.

Fantastic service and the food was cooked perfectly to our request. Wonderful rare steak, everything was seasoned amazingly and the sauces are well thought out. Highly recommend.

Went here on Sunday for lunch with my Son. Half price burgers, beautiful. The place had a great feel inside and out. Very relaxing. Burgers were super tasty washed down with a pint of cascade pale ale (not my son he had water).

Top notch beer selection and good food. Friendly staff that make you feel at home. Have the Wallaby burger, it may sound like a tourist trap but its actually delicious. The popcorn chicken and burger were great too. Would likely be my local if I lived in Hobart. Great place.

Went for lunch and the burgers are so good! The vegetarian was tasty and they were able to accomodate gluten free for a coeliac. The atmosphere was great too, i wish this was my local. Will visit again when we are in hobart next time. Highly recommend.
