3 Best Landmarks in Hobart TAS

This site is exceptionally well done. If you are interested in the Australian World Heritage Penal Sites, this will be a must stop. There are not a lot of conventional exhibits or other eye candy. If that is your thing, this may not be for you. For the same reason it may not go over well with small children. The tour guides are what make this place special. Our guide was well informed and a great presenter. We would have been very sorry if we had missed this.

It was such an epic experience. The guide (Don’t quite remember his name, Cal?) was amazing. He was so welcoming, funny and made the tour so entertaining. We learned a lot about beers and local history. We finished up with a tasting pedal which was sooo nice. Must check out this tour to get to know Cascade, who makes so much more than just Cascade light!

Wow what a truly eye opening experience. Our tour guide was amazing. Really felt like we were experiencing what these poor women and babies endured. Very sad time in history.

Absolutely loved this experience. The guide for me was Sara and she was incredible! Not only was she informative but she brought humour and character to the stories. You could tell she was passionate about her job, she was ready to answer any questions asked and would give extensive information about it. I'm very happy with the tour I did and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in history, that they also do this tour. Thank you so much to everyone working here for the experience.

We booked this tour on a whim and weren’t disappointed. The site is very well looked after and has many interactive displays to use. The tour was thorough and informative; the site is bigger than expected. Sam has a passion for the site and Tasmania’s convict history. Next time I’m in Hobart, I’ll definitely do the ghost tour.

Tea room was absolutely exceptional. A quintessential atmosphere with genuinely delicious scones. Used real whipped cream sourced locally and generously provided. The shot tower was also an interesting excursion.

Fantastic service, Devonshire tea the best ever!! The scones are huge and melt in your mouth. Crazy good!! The historical building is interesting and the views amazing! Well worth a visit. Free entry.

Well worth the stop in and look at the history of Bullet making back in the day! Wonderful views from the top but not for the faint hearted or if you don't like heights. Friendly and informative owner.
