“Cat and Fiddle Arcade has been the heart of Hobart shopping for more than 100 years. The city is a vibrant style capital with more than 70 speciality stores. They have 1700 spaces between these two alone, plus the added benefit of free parking for the first hour. Parking is very rarely a problem in Hobart.

“Northgate Shopping Centre is in Hobart's CBD and is a hub for fashion, food, and lifestyle stores. They have a home to Coles and Best & Less and include more than 60 speciality stores, all located on one level. This includes the addition of Target and Best & Less as significant anchor retailers. The centre offers plenty of undercover parking, free of charge for 4 hours, and a 260-seat food court that offers a wide variety of culinary options. Northgate is fully enclosed and air-conditioned and offers customer facilities, including a parents' room, a gift card centre, and an on-site management centre for your safety and convenience. The features include free undercover and outdoor parking. The chosen modes of transport are bus, taxi, or car; Northgate is one of Hobart's most accessible shopping centres.

EASTLANDS REVIEWS

Your typical shopping mall with your go to brands of products. There are quite a number of stores here with three grocery stores and an equal amount of clothing, toys, home decor stores. Parking is free here as well.

Always a great place to shop a good array of shops to purchase what you need. And the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The mall has got great Dangerfield outlet. We found the right size items there. Food court is very limited, but sushi is great too.

Lovely little Arcade, plenty of shops and definitely something for everyone! With everything from your local telstra shop to bookshops. Got to experience the added bonus, every hour the Cat and Fiddle song plays. Definitely added something special to this shopping centre.

The Cat and Fiddle song plays with animated characters every hour and is a cute little break in the hustle and bustle of the city, still brings a smile to my face even after 45 years to be in the right place at the right time to catch it.

Lots of shops, nice and warm to walk around in June. Clean and tidy, and access to both Myers and Target.

NORTHGATE REVIEWS

Moderate sized shopping complex. Has a Coles and Woolworths supermarket, as well as several other smaller stores like EB Games, and a food court. Always clean. The car park can get full during busy times.

It's kept clean and the shopping centre staff and cleaners are nice. It's just a pity about the riff raff who cause issues. I can say that security do act quickly when there are issues, which is good.

Good store options, happy that is gets constantly updated, keeps things fresh.
