Being an engineer, I have built things. A new home and a gas storage depot in country NSW on a greenfield site and renovated houses. Vivere Homes are a great team comprising 3rd generation builders spanning across the globe. Frans and Ingrid are hands on workers who are honest and hold high ethics and value integrity. Frans built a home for us which exceeded expectations. They then renovated an apartment for us which was most impressive. Tbh I think they are deserving of all the awards they have accumulated over the years, especially the best in Australia house build award that they won in the Master Builder Awards. Frans’ work and building knowledge is extensive, and he is equally talented for new builds and renovations. I salute this hands on couple who continue to build dream homes for happy customers. Being a builder and interior designer is a powerful combination.

Vivere homes recently completed our beach home on The Esplanade in Hervey Bay. As the architects and owners of this property, we had a very particular vision in mind for the design. Frans, Ingrid and the team worked tirelessly with us from start to finish to achieve this vision, going above and beyond to achieve a beautiful high-end home with carefully built details. The number of pedestrians stopping to admire the home, is testament to the quality of the product that Vivere have achieved. Communication was always excellent, and Frans was on-hand in the final days of construction to ensure all ran smoothly and everything was completed to our satisfaction. I love old houses! Actually am obsessed with old houses. Previously I have done renovations little by little to bring these beauties back to life. Our bungalow in Mackay, being completely asbestos (yes roof, interior and exterior cladding), meant little by little with 3 kids and a business was not an option. We engaged Tempus to help bring my love of Art Deco and Australian Post-War homes together with a renovation and extension project that would see our 2 bedroom + sleepout, 1 bathroom home become 4 bed + 2 bathroom classic family home. We had tiles selected and our theme so it was great to work with Tempus to see our our existing floor plan could be shuffled to reduce structural work and allow a seamless transition to our extension. Flipping our kitchen and lounge room? Who would have thought it would make such a difference to the flow of our home. The sleepout became the Master Ensuite and was split to allow wardrobe space for the second bedroom. For the interiors we had a pretty clear vision of what we wanted to achieve. The Tempus design team helped bring this together will a full scope of fixtures and finishings to ensure that the entire project came together, was balanced and beautiful. We have nearly completed the existing house renovation, ready to commence the extension and are grateful to be working with Tempus on this project and other in the future.
