3 Best Italian Restaurants in Sydney NSW

Had a dinner last night to celebrate my partners birthday. Food was delicious! My fav is the steak! Also highly recommend the pasta! My kind of comfort food. Very sweet customer service by one of their staff called Eno who was looking after our table. Ordered some desserts with him and he even got us a mini cake with a candle to surprise my partner. Thanks again for the memorable birthday dinner! Best Italian dining experience we’ve ever had so far :)).

Great food and great options. Good setting on the dock front, great spot for dates or family meals and staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks order was slightly mixed up but got resolved pretty quickly. Would recommend Vegetarian options: Some good options here, however my partner had to ask to customise one of the fish pasta dishes to get the option she wanted, the staff were very helpful with this though.

We dined there for our wedding anniversary, nice attentive service, the entree, main and dessert made this visit special would recommend.

Definitely a taste of Italy in Newtown/Sydney. Their arancini is really good, crispy outside and creamy inside. Tastes great. Another dish that I would definitely recommend is their Mare e Monte, which was incredibly! Highly recommend this place and their food. As they are really good and famous, the space inside is tight and it is not for a fancy dinner, even though it’s a place to eat well with good quality of ingredients. Parking: Newtown is quite hard to find parking. There are some, but you have to be patient.

Overall a very nice place to eat some delicious Italian food. A few things to note, it is a cash only venue, you have to order your food before you sit down, so looking at a menu beforehand is useful, and narrow pathways inside. Would definitely come again to try more foods.

A good local restaurant in Newtown serves fresh pasta and salad with other Italian dishes on the menu. Always a family favourite as the food is always fresh and delicious. Love the Newtown vibes.

There is an Italian restaurant that I really like. The food is excellent. It's right beside Darling Harbour and the view is also great. It's very suitable for friends to have a meal together.

Delicious. The staff were good the atmosphere was great. We found the food good quality and price reasonably for the quality. It was a nice location and was recommended to us and intern we are recommending it too.

Food was absolutely delicious and the ambience amazing! Ellie was was our waitress and the service she provided was second to none! Her friendly nature topped off what was a special night for us as my granddaughter celebrated her last night in Australia before flying home to UK tomorrow. A perfect evening out. Thank you so much.
