DR RONAK PATEL - ACT NEUROLOGY CENTRE REVIEWS
Before moving to the ACT I had seen the same Neurologist for a number of years. Naturally, I was reluctant to change to a new doctor. Dr. Ronak Patel at the ACT Neurology Centre took over my treatment. I have found him to be knowledgeable and caring. He listens to my concerns, discusses options and reviews any treatments at follow up appointments. My health issue has been well settled under his care. I have recommended him to a family member and some friends. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others who are seeking a reputable neurology service.
I've been seeing Dr Patel for 3 year's now for treatment of migraines which I suffered with for 90% of the time prior. Not only has it dropped my migraines down to about 1 a month,it has also settled my fibromyalgia down dramatically, its the only treatment in over 13 year's that worked for me,without the side affects that alot of the prescription medication have. The injections terrified me at 1st but Dr Patel does them quickly, he shows alot of compassion and distractions during the process. And now I look forward to them. Since being under his care which we travel 4 hour round trip for. Im off 3 of my medications for fibro. I actually get dressed most days, Was able to finally plan my wedding I kept putting off due to pain. I'm back driving small trips, I still have fibro flares up now and then but I'm also alot more active being able to push past the pain,I've even lost over 15kg and I'm so much happier to be around according to my husband lol.I feel like I'm finally living my life again thanks to Dr Patel and his treatment's.
The whole ACT Neurology team has provided me with compassionate, timely, and professional service, especially in a time of need. The team went above and beyond to help. I was quite stressed due to a mistake I had made, but they allayed those fears. I was, and remain, extremely grateful for their efforts and care!
