DR ROBERT CREER REVIEWS
After breaking my collarbone quite badly, I went to see Dr Creer on a Friday afternoon. With the help of his staff I was booked in for surgery the following Monday, and was back home in much better shape on Tuesday. There was no messing around. Dr Creer was direct, but friendly. His calmness and confidence at the initial review and before surgery was very reassuring. His staff have been very helpful with providing help and information whenever I have thought of questions.
Dr Creer operated on my left knee several months ago. It's now doing fabulously well (pity about my other aches and pains unrelated to me left knee!). Dr Creer is a great surgeon and also capable of explaining what's likely to happen with surgery in words we can all understand. He gave me options for how to deal with my knee joint, and surgery wasn't the only option. He was interested in trying to resolve my pain, not trying to make money out of me. Dr Creer's staff are all lovely to deal with as well - kind, friendly and helpful. I can't recommend Dr Creer and his staff highly enough, really.
From the moment I walked through the door and was greeted by the lovely ladies behind the reception desk, to my first meeting with Rob and onto my surgery to have my hip replacement and the subsequent visits to the rooms, I have had the best care. I also have to mention The Canberra Private Hospital at the Equinox Centre which was brilliant. I have never had such an amazing experience when having major surgery and I’ve had a lot !!! I cannot recommend Dr Rob Creer and his beautiful staff highly enough, definitely 5 stars.

DR PAUL MINITER REVIEWS
Dr Miniter was exceptional. I was in desperate need of an ankle reconstruction and Dr Miniter not only explained the procedure to me in clear detail, he also conducted himself in such a professional manner, making me confident and comfortable with the operation. After completing the surgery, Dr Miniter ensured I received all the correct after care and rehabilitation. In fact, 5 months after my full ankle reconstruction, I was able to complete a 13 day trek through the Himalayas, proving that my ankle was fully repaired and stronger than ever. Thank you Dr Miniter!.
I went to see Dr Miniter regarding some persistent ankle swelling and pain following a sprain 2 months prior. After our first consultation where he thoroughly explained the diagnosis and potential courses of action, his team was able to book me into theatres with a very short wait time. The surgery went very smoothly and I experienced very low levels of pain in the days following. I am so pleased with the work Dr Miniter and his team did on my ankle. Both Dr Miniter’s and his team’s pre op and post op care has been top shelf and nothing but professional. I am very happy with the progress so far and can’t thank the team at Avalon enough. I highly recommend his services and urge anyone experiencing ankle related issues to go and see Dr Miniter.
Fantastic and highly professional medical service from Dr Miniter. He is professional, helpful and has done a great job on my ankle. 2 months from surgery and having followed instructions for rehab - it’s a far better than I hoped for result. I would absolutely recommend him to others needing ankle surgery - without hesitation.

Dr Lau has done hip replacement and bilateral knee replacement on me and has given me a new lease on life. His professionalism is to be admired and he and his staff ( front desk and registrar’s)are all the same compassionate and caring. I had a situation seperate from the surgeries Dr Lau performed where I was admitted to hospital and the good doctor took time out of his busy schedule to check on my welfare. Highly recommend this masterful surgeon and wonderful human for any orthopaedic work Many thanks Dr Lau.
After struggling with feet pain and mobility for years Dr Joe diagnosed my arthritis and bone spurs in my big toes. He then performed Bilateral Arthrodesis of first Metatarsophalangeal joint surgery and after 2months off work and swelling reduction the surgery is a complete success. Dr Joe was a total professional pre during and post surgery. Thanks Joe.
