“A/Prof Hodo Haxhimolla completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales. He completed his urology and fellowship training, obtaining his specialist qualification, FRACS (Urology). He is the director of robotic surgery at the National Capital Private Hospital. He underwent a training course in robotic surgery at the leading centre at UCLA. A/Prof Hodo Haxhimolla has undertaken in excess of 1,500 minimally invasive radical prostatectomy and kidney surgery cases. He also performs Avance XP and urinary sphincter procedures. He has been leading in the diagnosis of cancer of the prostate using MRI technology, including performing in-gantry and fusion MRI-guided biopsies for accurate prostate cancer detection. He specialises in Urinary Tract Infections, Varicocele, Haematuria, and Hydrocele. His clinical interests include lower urinary tract symptoms, Peyronie's disease, and erectile dysfunction. “Dr Muhammad Kahloon is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) and the Australian Medical Association (AMA). He is fully accredited and trained in the use of the Da Vinci robot. Consultation: Dr Haxhimolla is courteous, open and very kind. He is obviously careful and considerate and is conservative, truthful and realistic in his assessments. He assesses all options - not just surgery. He carefully explains the best options and unlike my last urologist, he treated me like a person.

An amazing surgeon and doctor. He treated me for my prostate cancer and was fantastic for myself and my partner through the whole process and after care. Great bedside manner and continuation of care. Can not recommend highly enough.

My quality of life is steadily improving after the operation. Dr Haximolla must be the best TURP surgeon around. Highly competent and highly ethical.

Dr Kahloon carried out a TURP procedure for me in November 2023. Post surgery the previous symptoms of my large Prostate have disappeared. I only required one night in hospital post surgery and basically did not have to take any pain killers other than Paracetemol. My sleep pattern has returned to normal and I no longer need to look for a toilet close by when I leave the house. If you are sitting on the fence whether the TURP procedure is for you, based on my experience with surgery performed by Dr Kahloon get it done, you will not regret it. Dr Kahloon is extremely professional and caring and thorough.

The utmost professionals. Like other reviewers, I had/have a life changing prognosis, and the team here have been the best medical staff I have had to deal with. Dr Kahloon is one of the best surgeons I have met. Great skills and a total processional. Loretta, the Practice Manager, is the best I have seen. Always there to answer questions, will listen and gives the best advice. I couldn't of done the things I did without her guiding hand. Thank you to all the staff at the practice.
