Such a lovely and clean facility and I really appreciated the leaniance in allowing me to bring my little dog in to visit my great aunt. She loved the distraction and it was really nice to see her chatty and happy. She seems very comfortable with you and is a relief as this process can be very distressing for people understandably. Thank you.

Very high standard of care. Food is good and the staff always are looking after the residents medical and psychological well being.

Excellent home. Fantastic staff and wide variety of activities for the residents.

HammondCare Waratah is an exceptional care home and miles ahead of any other facility I toured in deciding where I would relocate my Mother. The culture of the staff is incredible. So loving, respectful, caring and human. Nothing was ever a problem. The love, attention and dignity offered to Mum was remarkable. My mother was a resident of Scarlet Cottage where she spent her final weeks of her life. The quality of the facility is as close as you would get to a 5 star hotel for the elderly. Beautiful finishings, clean fresh carpet throughout. No smell of anything foul or chemical. Smelt like a fresh home. Wonderful fresh meals cooked and prepared onsite (with love) which made a huge difference to my Mum who actually ate her meals, making it easier also to take her medication. The RAD and DAP is exceptional value for what is provided. My only regret is that I didn’t find this facility earlier for my Mum. If you are fortunate enough to receive a placement with Waratah - or any HammondCare facility - accept without delay. Say yes. It will be the best decision you ever make your your loved one.

My sister in law is now a resident for the past 4 months and we are so happy with the level of care Robyn has received. They have implemented programs to help her & has started to socialise with other residents; has put weight on & is a lot happier now

Elderly family friend has been at this facility for some time now and she is very happy there. Having worked in aged care myself, I am always impressed at the standard of care provided at Tingira Hills every time I visit. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Considerate, respectful and nothing is ever too much trouble. They go out of their way to make the facility feel like home and not like a hospital. Actual facility itself is modern and beautifully furnished and the food is great.

My father was recently cared for at Opal at Mt Hutton. They were amazing, caring and professional. It's an incredibly hard job they perform with compassion and empathy. They were understanding and supportive to our mother and whole family. They are a shining example of what aged care should be. We feel lucky dad was placed there. They made a difficult journey bearable. Thank you!

What a fabulous team!! My mum is so well loved and cared for, enjoys many activities and bus outings. She feels safe and probably the happiest she’s been in years!!! Such a warm and friendly atmosphere.
