3 Best Hotels in Newcastle NSW

This is a lovely, clean & surprisingly very quiet place seeing it’s on a highway. I travel a lot, and their beds are the softest I’ve ever slept on in a motel. The rooms are clean and modern, the restaurant is amazing, and the staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered. Rachel at front of house is so lovely, Chris from the restaurant just as much. We would always return for the quality of the accommodation, but the staff has made it our new favourite. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

The staff in this motel are outstanding. Best service and incredibly helpful. The facilities are great. My room overlooked gorgeous green space. There was an odour when I arrived that remain throughout my stay. I had to keep the fan running.

Highly recommend this accommodation. The room was an executive king and so much space in the room and bathroom. Beautiful garden view and we were on level where reception was so easy to access. Breakfast in our room was very generous helping. Pancakes highly recommended.

Amazing experience and hospitality! We arrived late and were met with grace and care. Fantastic service. The room was perfect and as expected. Staff were helpful with navigating Newcastle and assisting with directions to and from our destinations. Food was great and the coffee fantastic!!

Lovely room. A bit dated but the location is perfect. Loved how you can separate the lounge and bed area. Staff were very helpful. Top floor spa room with balcony. Great water views from the whole room. Shame the walls are paper thin and the ever so amorous neighbours gave us a show that we didn’t ask for.

Loved this place. Located on the wharf foreshore. Close to a variety of eating places, the rooms were very comfortable with lovely views. The breakfast was excellent . Definitely worth a stay.

It's worth paying extra for the ocean views, with a balcony. Would be nice if there were fly screens to stop bugs getting in while enjoying the sound of waves.|The cooling system wasn't working when we were there. Was a bit warm in the room, but the portal fan provided was enough to be able to sleep.

Great place to stay. Bed is cozy and room is great for two people. The breakfast is great value and dinner is beautiful. Enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Great views from our room. Would I stay here again, YES.
