Recommended to Dr Yu by a friend. My initial visit was professional comprehensive, empathetic and thorough. An ‘investigative’ doctor associate questioned and checked information with me for over 45 minutes touching all aspects of my source of pain. After this meeting the associate met with Dr Yu and discussed the facts gleaned during the initial meeting. I was then brought into Dr Yus office where my medical issues were explained and the proposed medical procedure was explained in exacting detail. A date, 3 days later, was made for the procedure at St George Private. Most happy to advise all went well and I now have absolutely no pain. Cannot be more thankful and will now confidently recommend to all in the future.

I have been seeing Dr Yu for a couple of years. In this time I have had 3 x surgical procedures at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. I would just like to thank Dr Yu and his team for their excellent professional work. His whole team and the hospital staff are run off their feet but they are always kind and caring.Keep up the great work. Thank you.

He has lovely and soothing personality and made me feel very comfortable talking to him. He explained my medication and pain relief in a way as to understand the concept of pain management. Everything was explained clearly in a way that was easy to understand, better than any other doctor had done before. Alister wrote and drew a flowchart summary that is extremely helpful for me to follow and understand what needs to happen and how to move forward. For the first time, I felt truly heard by a specialist.

Apart from the waiting time, the experience was good and I would recommend. My treating doctor, Dr Alister Ramachandran, was very helpful, asked alot of questions and was, in my opinion, genuinely interested in my case. Thank you doctor.

Dr Lewis was very thorough with his examination and his easy manner made my visit very pleasant. Excellent care and speedy attention. Great support staff answer any questions.
