“Dr Farzan Bahin completed his gastroenterology training at Westmead Hospital, which included an advanced endoscopy fellowship in the world-renowned Westmead Hospital Endoscopy Unit. Dr Farzan is the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Blacktown Hospital and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney and the University of Sydney. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr Bahin is the recipient of an impressive number of research-related prizes, including recognition through the National Health and Medical Research Council scholarship.
