“Dr Farzan Bahin completed his gastroenterology training at Westmead Hospital, which included an advanced endoscopy fellowship in the world-renowned Westmead Hospital Endoscopy Unit. Dr Farzan is the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Blacktown Hospital and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney and the University of Sydney. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr Bahin is the recipient of an impressive number of research-related prizes, including recognition through the National Health and Medical Research Council scholarship. He has proven himself passionate about his patients' health. He continues to conduct his own research into achieving better outcomes in gastrointestinal procedures.
