Dr Raoul Pope is the head of the neurosurgery department at the Mater Private Hospital. He obtained his education from the University of Otago Medical School in 1996. He completed two years as a general Resident Medical Officer at Christchurch Hospital before undertaking rural emergency and intensive care roles in various NSW-based hospitals to gain comprehensive experience.
