Rosalind Park in Bendigo is a stunning oasis with so much to discover. During our visit, the vibrant tulips in full bloom were an absolute highlight, adding bursts of color to the beautifully landscaped gardens. The park is home to a large colony of bats, and watching them hanging from the trees was fascinating — a unique aspect of the park's natural charm. We strolled through the lush fernery, which offered a tranquil escape, and the historic Poppet Head Lookout provided breathtaking panoramic views of Bendigo. The well-maintained paths, towering trees, and open spaces make it perfect for leisurely walks or a picnic. The park is rich in both natural beauty and wildlife, and there's always something new to see with each visit. Rosalind Park is a must-see gem, perfect for nature lovers and history buffs alike!

It's a beautifully landscaped and maintained park. They have a beautiful Chinese garden, They also have landscaped Tulip gardens to enjoy in the spring, along with a greenhouse to showcase tropical plants and flowers. It's a perfect spot for a stroll or picnic with friends and families.

Absolutely beautiful park in the centre of town with many grand old trees and gorgeous gardens. Immaculately maintained, a credit to the city. Be sure to visit the lovely old conservatory. And be warned - avoid lingering too long under the resident colony of fruit bats.

Lovely little park beside the main highway. Picnic and BBQ options are available as well as a toilet block. Its a lovely lake to walk around, however if there has been a lot of rain you cannot walk around it fully as it has a small spillway which has run over several times over the past few months. There are heaps of ducks here who love to wander up to you to see if you have any food. Lots of parking, at times there is also a coffee van and a donut van. If they are not there, APCO is across the road with lots of food options too.

Beautiful park. Lots of walkways for bishwalking or riding. Large lake fill of ducks, other water birds and fish. Toilets but no baby change or disabled facilities. Home of Goldfields Donuts 6 months of the year - amazing hand made hot jam donuts, well worth the drive here for.

So many water fowl.. the place is peaceful and away from traffic yet not too far from public transport. A beautiful relaxing atmosphere.. in my recent visit a few days ago I found 2 gentlemen fishing! It hadn't occurred to me there would be fish!

Wow were to begin describing this place/area. Well there are so many mountain bike tracks/trails you will need more than a week to explore them all. Same can be said about the walking tracks. There are so many beautiful places here. There is also massive amounts of 4x4 tracks to explore most are nothing difficult just good to drive. Two wheel drive vehicle's are not left out as there are plenty of two wheel drive tracks to explore. Use them to get yourself to walking tracks, mountain bike tracks or just a nice drive through the bush. If you plan to visit in the summer bring water.

Big area, lots of different environs, heaps of historical gold diggings etc, plus you can still prospect much of it. Quintessential Australian Bush. You also free camp many areas.

Excellent area to explore goldfield workings, there are many tracks and trails of varying degrees of hardship. Camping grounds and picnic areas are well signposted.
