BENDIGO ART GALLERY REVIEWS
Lovely art gallery with great gift shop! I took the free tour and discovered a lot about the building, like how the floors were laid in the oldest part and about the additional buildings. (I'm an architecture fan.) The art is varied and the visiting exhibitions were good. I loved the zoetrope! The gift shop was worth the visit, with an amazing array of goodies.
This was an amazing small gallery! It was so spacious and well planned. Above all of that it was free too. There was a Chinese exhibition that was stunning and 2 rooms full of first place local artists paintings to view. It's always lovely being able to see art so up close and seeing the way art is heading is very interesting.
Wonderful gallery. We spent a morning perusing Australian landscapes, a collection of Chinese art, and impressive artifacts from the Golden Dragon Museum, which had a bit more room to breathe here in several dedicated halls vs their normal home. No need to buy tickets in advance because entry is also free!

GOLDEN DRAGON MUSEUM REVIEWS
Small area but great if you want to know more about the history of Chinese diggers and migrants. As much as I find it interesting, young children may find it boring. The small Chinese garden outside is beautiful too. Note: due to shortage of stuff, the museum may close early, so it's better to be there early than late!.
it was totally a shame we have not visit on the right time, they close on monday, and there is some section are in upgrades. but definitely gonna come again to visit the garden probably. the stone lion on the outside are look amazing, the door as well. bamboo garden are my favourite, give them sometime to grow bigger, i sure everyone will be impressed.
Wonderfully informative museum full of loads of artifacts and memorabilia. Very well presented and spacious. Covers the story of Chinese in Bendigo very well. Definitely worth visiting.

BENDIGO BOTANIC GARDENS REVIEWS
Very beautiful place lots to see There’s a lake, playground, Lots of shaded picnic areas A bird sanctuary that’s open to public at certain times A fair bit of parking And a bike track bridge from the bike trail.
We enjoyed our visit to the Bendigo Botanic Gardens. It was a nice quiet and stress free day out, with plenty of parking. The gardens has a nice variety of vegetation. All plants, trees and flowers featured there names and descriptions. There is a lake that runs through the gardens which provides lots of shade with the over hanging trees, and is very nice. The gardens are well looked after and immaculate which makes the experience more enjoyable. Also features a bird aviary, which was unfortunately closed at the time we visited. It was great to see that there was plenty of people, including two kids parties being held at the gardens. Includes free public BBQ and covered outdoor seating space. The Botanic Gardens is located not far from the Bendigo town centre.
Beautiful park to stroll in and enjoy the open space. Since it was winter when I visited, the flowers were not in blossom, but the greenery was still beautiful and soothing.
