Beautiful gallery filled with some stunning pieces. Paris: Impressions of Life 1880-1925 exhibition was showing when we visited. Gallery entry was free with exhibitions attracting an entry fee. The gallery is a must see in the beautiful town of Bendigo, the gallery grounds surrounding are meticulously manicured, with some sculptures, and offer fantastic views and a lovely park walk.

My husband and I visited the Bendigo Art Gallery to see the ‘Paris: Impressions of Life 1880 - 1925’ exhibition. The exhibition was very impressive, as was the main gallery as well. We took our time through the gallery and spent about 90 minutes from beginning to end. They also have a very nice cafe which is perfect for lunch.

Just a few of the many mesmerizing arts featured inside the gallery. It highlighted Rob McHaffie's, the power of colours, watercolour dreaming, and layer of black arts. This is the first gallery that I've been to, which for some reason I wished I had the artists' talent.

The Golden Dragon Museum offers an immersive journey into Chinese culture and history, making it a must-visit destination. During the Mid-Autumn Lunar Festival, their spectacular lion and dragon dance performances bring the museum to life, captivating visitors with vibrant colors and rhythmic movements. It's a cultural experience that truly celebrates the spirit of the festival. Was fortunate to join in and spend a meaninful day enjoying the art form.

A fascinating extremely well displayed museum. The mixture of 18th century to modern day history was really cool. The staff was excellent, incredibly friendly and helpful. Price was exceptional for everything included. The walk through the gardens was especially enjoyable just to watch the koi swimming around. The gift shop as well was reasonably priced.

Wonderful museum with so much information about the Chinese people who came looking for gold and eventually settled in the Bendigo area. The exhibits are well done, and seeing the different dragons and paraphernalia used in the parades up close is a bonus.

What a wonderful Botanic Gardens. A short drive from the heart of Bendigo to the suburb of White Hills will have you at the Bendigo Botanic Gardens. The Garden is Bendigo’s first on the Victorian Heritage Register due to it's historical, architectural, scientific, botanical, aesthetic and social significance. What a joy it is to soak up the atmosphere as you walk around seeing all on offer. Amenities include a BBQ area with super clean BBQ’s, playground, vast green spaces, water features, bridges, toilet facilities and much more. Worth a mention is how they have made some of the gardens ‘kid friendly’ so the kids can interact with certain structures, bushes and shrubs. Well worth considering.

A pleasant spot to sit and enjoy a picnic by Bendigo creek. Electric BBQ’s with park benches and rubbish bins in close proximity are a bonus. Reasonably clean and tidy place if everyone picks up after themselves. Plenty of ducks enjoying the peace and quiet as per the picture.

Huge garden with many native plants and birds. Lots of places to picnic. The children's playground has a mini trampoline that kids would love. We can easily spend 2-3 hours here. We went on a weekday and it was almost deserted. Thanks.
