“Bendigo Marketplace first opened its doors on the 31st of October 1995. The shopping centre is supported by over 95 speciality stores. Bendigo Marketplace Shopping Centre is now managed by CBRE. The centre offers a diverse and well-balanced range of retailers, including everyday fashion, lifestyle and service stores, homewares, general merchandise, fresh food vendors, and takeaway dining options. The shopping centre caters to the daily needs of Bendigo’s primary trade area, and it also attracts customers from a broader secondary trade area extending approximately 80 to 100 kilometres beyond the region. When Bendigo Marketplace first opened, they had two major stores, Big W and Woolworths, and a handful of speciality stores. This transformation marked an exciting milestone for the community, introducing a full range of retail offerings apparel, jewellery, footwear and a large food court featuring a mix of local favourites and well-known national brands.
