PERTH ZOO REVIEWS
Living in the city, it's very easy to cross over with the ferry. I haven't been to the zoo for years, but the vibe is still the same. The last time I was here was when I was in my early twenties, and I'm in my mid-thirties now. It's still awesome, no matter how old you are. When we came in, Tricia had just passed away the day before, so that the elephant section was blocked off so the other elephants can mourn. It's clear that the staff here care a lot about the animals. They know what they're doing here. The zoo is designed so that you can meander around haphazardly. But it is very well structured, and have clear sections depending on the types of animals. It's hard to pick a favourite, because each corner of the zoo is unique. The only drawback I can think of is that the prices of food here is exorbitantly expensive (maybe I've been living overseas too long), so come with a full stomach.
We spent a day at the zoo with my nephews. There was a parking lot close to the zoo but that was full so we ended up parking on one of the side streets. It cost about $10 for ~5 hours. The zoo is fairly large and the enclosures were all themed to make it feel more like their natural habitat. It wasn't too difficult to see everything on the day but it did involve a bit of walking, which isn't easy with kids in tow. There were plenty of maps around so it wasn't too hard to keep track of where you are in the zoo. I quite like the reptile encounter area as it makes me think that we were in the outback. Like most zoos, there were some enclosures where you couldn't see anything but overall is good.
We are so lucky to have such a nice Zoo close to home. Been many times with the kids & always plenty of animals to look at & keep the kids entertained. Visited on Father’s Day & Dads gets free entry which is a nice touch. There was a new memorial section for “Tricia” the elephant that has just passed on recently which was sweet to remember her by. Currently there’s food trucks available as they are renovating the old cafe. Quite decent choices of trucks on rotation. Always a pleasure to visit the animals! Staffs are always pleasant & helpful to deal with.

AQUARIUM OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA REVIEWS
Great place for the family and children to explore! It's not massively big so two hours top to really experience everything they have to offer. It has interactive areas for the children, a touch pool and quiet areas. And after it is all done being close to hillarys board walk is a bonus to take the kids down to the park or go grab an ice cream. Ample parking but sometimes if it's busy you have to park a bit away. Can get cold being right next to the ocean too.
An absolutely amazing aquarium. Very interactive for the kids, we have also visited AQWA during there Halloween nights (the kids loved it). Definitely one of the best aquariums around and will keep coming back to see new displays.
We spend quite a few delightful hours at AQWA. The aquatic displays are amazing, and it's really interesting to see all the different sections that one get in the ocean. The underwater tunnel was fascinating, especially seeing the sharks and giant stingrays swimming above or next to you. There's lots to do for kids, food at the restaurant is good, and the gift shop has a huge array of beautiful gifts and toys.

Caversham Wildlife Park has been under the ownership and management of a Western Australian family. Since 1988, David and Pat, along with their grown-up children, David and Debbie, have overseen and operated the park. Initially, the park hosted a modest collection of animals and birds on a humble 5-acre property. Over time, the family acquired the adjacent property, expanding the park, which led to the growth of the animal collection. In May 2003, they established and constructed a new park within Whiteman Park, and subsequently, the park relocated to this new facility. Caversham Wildlife Park now boasts a collection of 200 species comprising over 2000 animals, birds, and reptiles, making it the largest collection of native wildlife in Western Australia. Drawing tourists from around the globe, the park's wildlife professionals offer personalized assistance to visitors, ensuring they have optimal animal interaction, information, and photography opportunities.

CAVERSHAM WILDLIFE PARK REVIEWS
Amazing collection of Australian animals and birds. You can feed kangaroos and have photos with koalas. You can even cuddle a koala for an extra cost! But the photo booths are worth it just for a free photo with a koala! We saw some amazing birds and animals that you can't see in the wild or are endangered. Well worth a trip if you're not a local! Or even if you are. There is something for everyone!
Loving the Koalas and Wombat sessions. Special mention on the Rabbit touching Sheds; a gem for all little kids under 5 to touch them. Also surprisingly, the location has a number of birds and reptiles that’s interesting to see. Great place for a morning outing!
Nice beautiful place. Allow yourself 2-3 hours to properly watch this place. You can watch and hold kangaroos, koalas, and many more animals. Learning place for kids about different reptiles, birds, and animals. Plenty of shaded places, sheds and trees for picnic.
