3 Best Parks in Perth WA

The park is exceptionally well-maintained, and I am grateful to the entire team for their excellent care. Everyone should visit this place; one visit is not enough. I would describe it as the heart of Perth. You can spend the whole day enjoying its various vibes. Both winter and summer are ideal seasons for exploring the park, and you shouldn’t miss the wildflower season, where you can encounter many different species of wildflowers.

Great park to spend a whole day exploring, you can get to it by the free blue cat bus ( last stop kings park) the is plenty to see and it is a large park so bring something to eat and drink ( there are numerous water stations scattered around) this time of year is not too hot and everything is flowering so plenty of colour. You can walk back into town if you want, go down Jacob’s ladder ( as we did) easy walk as it’s downhill.

We very much enjoyed having breakfast at Zumia Cafe in Kings Park and proceeding to make way over the the Botanical Garden area of the Park where we spent another 2 hours wandering the area grounds. Would have enjoyed trying a trail or two if time had allowed. Look forward to exploring more of Kings Park when next in Perth.

Beautiful park to visit if you’re in the neighborhood. It has two small lakes surrounded by Plane trees and is a peaceful place to walk, picnic, or just relax. I spent about an hour here, which seemed to be the right amount of time. It’s also easily accessible by public transportation and close enough that you can walk directly to the CBD. I don’t think I’d make a special trip just to visit this park, but it’s def worth visiting if you’re nearby and looking for something to do.

This is a really, really good park! We went there on a bike ride and it was so green and natural compared to the rest of the city, it's kind of like the Central Park of Perth. It would have been a great spot for a picnic too.

I particularly love the well-maintained lawns, the shaded picnic areas, and the food truck that sets up there every Saturday. This food truck is a local favorite, serving up a variety of delicious dishes that are perfect for a leisurely picnic or a quick bite. Highly recommended!

I really love this park for walks, meditation, beautiful photographs, walks on the water, sports, bike rides. Always clean, green, with excellent cycling and walking paths. There are many playgrounds, picnic areas, cafes and restaurants. An excellent view of the city across the river, which adds romance when meeting in a restaurant.

Great place for a picnic and watching the sunset. It is huge, no space problems. We rounded the lake by bike, after Elizabeth's bridge you have to cross the road to climb to another bridge, mind the cars.
