3 Best Steakhouses in Hobart TAS

We walked in on a packed Saturday night with no booking and the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They found us a table within a few minutes of ordering drinks at the bar and the food was superb! Highly recommend the Scallops and Beef Cheek and a shout out to our waiter from the Gold Coast, great service! Would happily come back here one day, thank-you.

My wife and I had dinner here on our stay in Hobart two weeks ago. We were extremely impressed with the food and the service. We thoroughly enjoyed our steaks and the side of mash potato and vegetables (which were fantastic by the way). I recommend you book ahead as tables go pretty fast. Even though we were early they were only just able to squeeze us in and the place filled up quickly. I’d definitely eat here again.

I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. I was suggested the Korean style beef and it was delicious The food was truly outstanding. I would highly recommend everything including the steak Korean style brisket , onion rings and chicken pate which all were perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. At the end of the, we were just too full for desserts.

Amazing food! The amount of food here is HUGE! Definitely worth the price! All of the staffs are super friendly and attentive. Great place to have a causal dinner on the weekend with your loved one. Very chill and laidback environment! The dessert “Date pudding” were amazing.

A great place to really enjoy good value food. Service and staff were excellent. Food was plentiful and cooked well. Ribs and curly fries were a stand out. Actually the fried chicken fillets were awesome too. Restaurant was tastefully decorated. It was a very worthwhile meal on our visit to Beautiful Hobart.

Absolutely delicious meals! Great location, parking and eating space! Extremely friendly and kind staff who are always helpful and really nice to communicate with! The ribs are insanely good and so are the curly fries and wraps! Can highly recommend Hog’s breath cafe! 10/10 service And food.

The food was the best - in fact I enjoyed the pork ribs so much and will definitely be going back for more. And the accompanying salad was light and fresh - beautiful pairing to the ribs. Hubbie enjoyed his steak sandwich as well - steak very tender and left nothing on his plate.

This is a great restaurant for Beef, pork, chicken, lamb and more. When we entered, it was very charming. The wait was minimal, we got served immediately with a smile. We ordered the share platter for two and it had a bit of everything. The taste was amazing! Totally recommended as the price is right.

The fillet steaks were great. Service was really good. The blue cheese sauce didn't have a strong blue cheese flavour so don't get it if you're wanting that hit. The drinks were good. Creme brulee was good and tiramisu was tasty but would be better without the chocolate sauce at the bottom. Steaks were cooked perfectly which is great.
