3 Best Cakes in Hobart TAS

We ordered our wedding cake from Sweet Envy, and could not have been more thrilled. It was exactly what we asked for... A simple design, fresh flowers, and very delicious flavours. The orange cake inside was exceptionally moist and had a lovely flavour. The buttercream was not too sweet either, which complemented the cake well. Our guests were very happy. On top of a great cake, the service of the owners was faultless. Their kindness and attention to detail really helped us have a seamless experience. I hope to pop back in for a coffee and a treat very soon!

The freshness macaron I have ever eaten in my life. So tasty and delish. The filling was sensational and the flavor was incredible. Some pictures so you can buy them next time. I almost forgot the size is so generous.

Gorgeous little cupcake shop. Amazing fresh cupcakes with amazing flavours, and coffee. Such a great treat after breakfast. Will be back next time we are in Hobart.

With out a doubt, This adorable little shop is in my opinion the undisputed king of cake in Tasmania. Absolute next level cakes to be found at this venue. Each and every different variety is a complete standout, One would not be forgiven for trying everything in this lovely store. Definitely go and feat your eyes and indulge on perfection.

My birthday cake from JM haha. I personally loved it, it was fresh, soft and delicious The cream had a perfect balance in it with good amount of nuts included. The size of the cake is perfect for us as well, just like the way we needed. If you are in the Moonah area or nearby, It’s worth of having it a try, it won’t disappoint you for sure.

I have bought many special occasion cakes from Lipscomb's Larder and they have been wonderful especially the Ferrero Rocher cake. I wanted a Croquembouche recently for my birthday party and Anita was fantastic listening to my needs and making great suggestions for my cake. It was ready to pick up at short notice and spectacular! My 60 guests were wowed. I felt so lucky to have such a lovely cake that was a great hit and absolutely delicious. Thanks again 5.

Great deli with really good quality food. If you wanna have a beef pie which actually has lots of beef in yummy sauce but not a load of starch - that is a place to be. Fabulous cakes, yummy tarts, good selection of kinches and many many more. It’s also worth noticing a dejection of great quality seasonal veggies and fruits from Tasmania.

Love the cake range to take my housebound 93 year old Aunt. The Tiramisu cake is one of her favourites! The GF vanilla slice is a great addition to the cake fridge - love that I can buy something other than orange and almond cake (it was the bane of my coeliac existence for so long!). Thank you for thinking outside the box!
