Great food and fantastic service. The owner greets the guests when they are seated and has a small chat with them to make them feel welcome. Atmosphere, ambiance, and service are perfect/flawless. Best experience I've ever experienced.

I've visited Tasmania twice in the last four years. I made it a priority to visit Rockwall because they have the best Steak. The steak is cooked to perfection. I will be back on my next trip.

Absolutely Awesome. Had a table available as a walk in which was great dining on my own. Service was great; friendly, quick and warm. Food was awesome, tasted great and well presented. Steak was cooked perfectly!!! Atmosphere was warm and charming. Finished off with the Epilogue cocktail, tasty.

We were travelling in Tasmania and decided to have dinner at The Astor Grill on our last night. It was hands down the best dinner we had here! The food and service was perfect! The staff who served us gave great recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We will certainly return to try out more of their menu if we are back in Tasmania in future!

The food was phenomenal, the eye fillet was like butter and the truffle infused mash potatoes were out of this world. Our waiter Jeremy, gave exceptional service and was lovely to talk to. The classical vibe the restaurant provides creates a very warm and great atmosphere, the music was great.

We had buffet breakfast at our final stay at the Grand Chancellor hotel. There's quite a huge selection of fresh fruit, cooked food , freshest bread, cured smoked bacon, smoked salmon tea, coffee , selection of freshly squeeze juice , muesli, on offer. You have a choice of full buffet breakfast or continental breakfast buffet only. We both had full buffet breakfast. Our seating table also had the best view of the marina. You also can request the chef to freshly prepared cooked eggs either scrambled, poached or fried. Overall, we had an amazing breakfast experience at The Tasman Restaurant. Staff are very attentive and helpful.

Very tasty food with good presentation. The pork scotch is one of the best pork cuts I've had in quite some time. Juicy and tender with a sweet and earthy jus. The vegetables with it were next level (I could have had those for a meal alone). Oyster Kilpatrick and miso butter were full of flavour with nice firm and plump oysters. Clam chowder was tasty with with salmon, white fish and clams (yum). Pork belly was nice and crunchy in mild broth. Staff were very friendly, professional and efficient.

We had dinner on 26 th June at Tasman, it was our daughter's tenth birthday. The team was kind enough to fulfill our requirement for a birthday cake ( cookies and cream flavour). The food was delicious (I had a mushroom risotto) and the ambience was great. A special thanks to the team for making her birthday so special.
