BAR WA IZAKAYA REVIEWS
A hearty meal on our last day in Hobart. The food was flavourful, but what was most memorable was the set up of the entire bar. Bottles hung from the ceiling and art pieces lined the walls, which made the place feel exceptionally cozy and intentionally decorated. There was also outdoor seating available, where families with pets could also dine at.
A must when you’re in Hobart, if you love great service, a cool atmosphere, the yummiest cocktails & wow blow your socks off Japanese style food. Went on the first day for 1/2 price oysters & I couldn’t wait to go back the next day for more! The service was amazing….please can you come to Melbourne.
Bar Wa Izakaya was in my list for Hobart and we managed to come and we were not disappointed at all. Loved the ambience, the music they put and also the decorations of the bottles, that’s pretty awesome and creative. The food was also so fresh and unique, we tried some We also loved how nice the waiters and waitress were.

KOSATEN JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Visited this place for the first time for Sunday afternoon lunch. Good food, good desserts.. (don't have a chance to take pictures of all the dishes we ordered - I will surely come back and will take more pictures!). The only thing I don't like from this place is the ambiance.. it is a bit too dark (at least for me), but again, it's just a matter of preference. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place for someone who is craving for Japanese food.
Lovely selection of nigiri, rolls and specials - the kosaten grilled lamb cutlets were super juicy and the famous volcano sushi roll had some lovely textures and a light sweet chili kick. The restaurant is cosy, with 8 tables of 4, 3 tables of 2 and an open seating area for 6. Definitely worth booking prior to coming. The mini train that brings you your food is a nice special treat for those who haven’t experienced it before.
The only thing that makes the delicious food here even better is that it's delivered via a high speed train straight to your table. It's expensive but totally worth it!

Komatsu is a fantastic place to hang out with family and friends over some delicious , authentic Japanese food. It's a quite casual atmosphere, but it makes it so easy to enjoy your experience! The food is DELICIOUS, I highly recommend anything off their menu, especially their specialty rolls. I also must commend the service! The servers are so nice, and quick to act. They are attentive to customer's needs. Overall, a 10/10 experience, a must try place <3.
Wonderful little place, with good food, we came back for 2 nights straight! It’s more like a home-cooked style of Japanese food but they do it well. At a decent price point too!!
