Visited this place a few years ago. Always been missing their fish and chips. It was operated by Macedonians. Went back recently and found that it is now operated by Chinese. Seems to be very famous among the locals. Food is still fine but dont feel the same as last time.

Yummy calamari and chips the fish is amazing the best fish I’ve had while being in Australia I love it and very much recommend a fish and chip feed from here.

The food was great, great snitsal burger and chips, the new plutos tasted great, food came out quick and hot. Great lunch option.

Has to be in my top works burger ever eaten.. extremely tasty and no grease.. I was struggling to work out how it was possible 10/10 and extremely well priced.

I would say it's the best fish and chips in Newcastle, great service, lovely staff. Highly recommended.

I had a chicken burger and it was an actual real chicken fillet that was fresh and crispy. I’m very fussy with quality chicken on burgers and this was absolutely delicious omg finally found a decent chicken burger from a takeaway shop.

Great old fashioned fish and chips! Run by a beautiful family. Great old fashioned prices, huge cocktail fish pieces, exellent value for money! I will only get fish and chips from this place when I'm in town!!! The hamburgers are just as amazing too! Fantastic place.

Great store, friendly staff with great service. Calamari is thick cut and delicious, with garlic in the batter. Fish cocktails and chips are great. Got the fisherman's basket and would recommend. Cash only.

Love the atmosphere here, treats everyone like family. A pleasure to call in even if it's only for a piece of fish.
