CRESWICK REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS

A nice spot to get out and enjoy the bush just out of Ballarat and Creswick. There are many old gold diggings around the hills and Slatey creek. The tracks have some nice 4WD spots and it’s also good for mountain biking or hiking. With a 5 min drive into Creswick you can explore the old buildings in town over lunch.

Went there for a day with my family , great view and lot of space for everyone to enjoy. My dogs loved being there and had a great time.

Beautiful little walk path, Teepees along the track, toadstools and mossy fallen logs. Picturesque!

BLACK HILL RESERVE REVIEWS

Great place to have a bike rides and there are few tracks based on skills level. I tried few tracks and those were really good. If you are visiting first time, you better take your bike suitable for these tracks.

Beautiful views overlooking city of Ballarat. Natural bushland setting, sealed carpark and down hill crosscountry bike and running paths.

Great experience. Close to the city with fresh air. Definitely enjoyed the walk with my little boy.

WOOWOOKARUNG REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS

Woowookarung is very vegetated it has lots of trees and plants, it’s full of wildlife and is very ecofriendly. It had lots of rest stops and was really stunning. The lookout was very pretty and showed off a lot of Ballarat. The bike and shoe cleaning area was easy to use and helped a lot with my bike. 10/10 would go again.

A huge regional park area with several walks to take your dog. Lots of wildlife and some stunning scenic views on one side of the park. A few mountain bike trails and some very flat paved trials towards the northern part of the park. Parking locations in several places around the park, and limited toilet facilities scattered throughout.

Awesome , well designed, creative park, dog friendly too! A real gem and absolute pleasure to visit.
