I remember coming to sovereign hill as a child , now visiting with my grandson. Fantastic place to visit and learn about ballarats gold rush history. Gold panning , the various demonstrations throughout the park , there is so much to see. My favourite part is the best Sausage rolls from the hope bakery. Highly recommended.

Top notch. Highly engaging and a wonderful look into the past. Lots of hands on activities and things to do. Really enjoyed the Gold show and confectionery making. The mine tour was fantastic and very enjoyable. Lots to see, do and learn!

Ballarat Wildlife Park is a wonderful place to visit if you're in the area! Went with multiple families, both the kiddos and grown-ups had a blast feeding the kangaroos. We also opted to do a few of the "animal experiences" where you pay a bit extra to have a 1-on-1 experience with an animal of your choice. They had a professional photographer, and they will also take photos with your cell-phone as well for no additional charge. Overall a great mix of interactive activities and exhibits, highly recommended!

Staff were phenomenal. Wasn't too busy so we were really lucky and got to have more intimate educational shows which we were truly grateful for. The hosts were so informative and happy to answer all our questions. Reptile show and dingo session were our favourite of the day. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back next time we're in Ballarat.

It's an amazing and expansive place! I didn't expect to spend so much time there—what a surprise! The animals are friendly, and some were completely new to me. There's also a fantastic area for kids to play. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours to take it all in. Highly recommended!

I went to the botanical gardens park, lake side there were so many swans and its kids roaming around in the park, there is a big children playground and some exercise activities. Overall a nice place to chill and several people were fishing in the lake, jogging around the lake, there are several restrooms available and Tram museum. An amazing place to visit in Ballarat.

Beautiful garden, very clean and well organized. There is a separate indoor plant and also you can buy some plant if you are interested. Easy parking nearby, and there is a clean toilet facilities Recommend you to visit and spend a quality time with your family.

If you find yourself in Ballarat you have to take a wander through the Botanical Gardens. Beautiful walk ways and lots of places to explore. A great place for a picnic in the warmer months. Just across the road from Lake Wendouree.
