3 Best Spas in Ballarat VIC

I had a glorious four hours at Ballarat Day Sanctuary today. The facilities are amazing however my therapist Louise is the reason I’m posting this review! I had a 90 minute hot stone massage, with a 1 hour facial. What I loved was how the two were intertwined. My treatment started with a superb hot stone massage. I wanted a relaxing experience with a focus on my tight shoulder blades. Louise delivered 10/10 on both counts. In fact it was so relaxing I was almost asleep at one point! Then the facial commenced and I truly lost time. Just when I thought it was over Louise then went back to the hot stone massage on my arms and hands. At numerous points throughout the massage and facial, Louise also gave wonderful scalp massages. I then went on to get the deluxe pedicure again with Louise. Whilst it was more expensive than your average nail salons, it was 110% worth it taking close to an hour with a lovely afternoon tea and leg scrub/ massage as well. At no time throughout my experience did I feel rushed and I came out feeling utterly refreshed. I honestly couldn’t get over the genuine care and passion Louise has for her work. What an asset she is!! I will definitely be back

Stunning building with lots of nice timber. The sanctuary bathing is gorgeous and relaxing. We loved bathing in the hydrotherapy pool and looking out to the trees. The private side by side baths are definitely worth doing - really nice bath tonics to choose from and very spacious baths.

Been here a couple of times and each was a lovely and relaxing experience. The warm hydro pool was very nice, my massage had the right pressure and I felt so relaxed after the massage I wish I didn’t had to get up! Ends with a nice cup of tea and slice in the lounge room.

I have had trouble finding a skin specialist that didn’t push products. Hayden is fabulous, he is working with me for better skin and after only 2 visits my skin is already feeling better. He has a skin range that is fantastic and rather than paying for pretty packaging he has placed focus on remarkable skin care that works rather than the hype of pretty packaging and fancy ingredients that do nothing.
