Foreshore Park, is a very popular public green space, much visited by families, groups and individuals enjoying a variety of activities including walking the dog, exercise, community garden, community events, private parties, and parents with children. Plenty of parking and clean amenities, easy access. The park has large sculptures and a large cement frog pond, which has become a temporary skate bowl. The park is well kept by the council rangers with lush green mowed lawns and trimmed bushes and tall trees that attracts much bird life. Foreshore Park is a valued community asset. Highly recommended for picnics family outings. SuperCars utilises the space during the Race, and thousands of people enjoy display and race atmosphere.

Went recently to the park to attend the inaugural mediaeval festival being held there (here's to hoping it comes back next year at a bigger and better location so they can hold the jousting!) Was fairly quick and easy to get parking which was a nice surprise, although frustrating that you have to pay while attending an event.

Great place to people watch, relax, enjoy the views, soak up some days and conversation. Personally, loved to do an early morning workout. A must is the walk along the causeway to see and read the painted rocks.

I recently visited Lampton Park and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The park not only had a fantastic playground for children, but also a refreshing swimming pool that was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The ample parking space was a great convenience and made my visit hassle-free. The overall atmosphere of the park was incredibly relaxing, making it an ideal spot for unwinding and enjoying nature. Additionally, during my visit, there happened to be an event taking place, which added a vibrant and lively touch to the park. I highly recommend Lampton Park for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out.

Lambton Park is gorgeous. It has the swimming pool, the bowling club, the playground, the library, the track and big ground to just picnic or meeting people. It is also has enough parking spots in the surrounding road. The trees are amazing and shady. It is absolutely lovely to relax and play with family and friends.

Great place to take the dog for run, while the kids enjoy the playground, tennis courts and cricket nets. Park also has a couple of historic sights to see.

King Edward Park is really king of the park in Newcastle area. It is established in 1863 as a recreation reserve. It is equipped with all modern facilities like free car park, picnic area, BBQ area, public toilet and dog park as well. It is beautiful park with a lovely green ground area and nice rotunda. It is decorated with large Norfolk Island pine trees and colourful garden with seasonal flowers. Plenty of shades under the large tree or rotunda. Magnificent ocean views sometimes with dolphins and whale watching. Suitable for family gathering as well as kids of all ages. Wedding photos, cricket or footy games are common.

A very nice park with breathtaking views. There is plenty of parking as well. It's pretty close to the bogey hope as well so you park here and then walk down to the hidden gem. There is a lookout spot here as well which offers a great view of the horizon as well as the Newcastle beach towards the left. A spot on place for a nice walk and a swim as well if you wanna go down the bogey hole.

Beautiful park. Drive or walk through the park. There are plenty of places to take a photo. Brilliant flower garden at the time of walking through. Wonder views of the ocean. Nice walking trails. It's worth a look. Toilets and BBQ facilities are available.
