“Belmont Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in Newcastle. The golf course features an 18-hole par 72 championship links course set amongst rolling green fairways and trees, and many of the fairways. The green is raised, long, narrow, and heavily guarded by bunkers. Belmont Golf Club, over the years, has been continually improved to meet the playing expectations of golfers of all levels. The course is open to the public, and its social golf is available every day. Belmont Golf Club has an excellent team of golf instructors. They help golfers to control their golf balls. They provide excellent facilities with on-course coaching and a fully stocked pro shop for all golfing requirements. In addition, Belmont Golf Club has now constructed two covered bowling greens, which are in full use.”

MEREWETHER GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Great innercity course that has done pretty good with the course considering the amount of rain in 2022. The greens on a Monday in August 2022 were fast and reliably consistent. The pro shop staff were super friendly and helpful and the green fees were reasonable.

The golf course is wonderful, especially the teraain. We also dine at the bistro and overall good experience. Keep it up

Played today. Great course lots of runs and fast greens, the wind comes up in the afternoons, making some holes very long. If you hit straight, you will score well. Fairways are very wide. Definitely going back. Good prices in the bistro: they have a $10 menu with a selection of about 6 different meals, which include Flathead fillets with chips and 2 salmon patties with salad and chips. Very fresh and a great price.

Must be one of the best course and under price course! Even after those rainy days, it dry up very quickly, great view and fairway along the side of mile sand.

Fantastic, atmosphere was relaxed food was great....Annette behind the bar was awesome....great day all round will definitley be back.
