Recently, we went to the restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff made our friend's birthday memorable by going above and beyond. The staff's singing and the cake took us all by surprise. Fantastic team; we forgot to get the name of the man who served the cake, but a special thanks to him. We appreciate it; he is knowledgeable and offering great recommendations. The food was amazing; everyone should try it.

The cusomer service was excellent, I felt very comfortable to place my order and even ask for napkins without feeling shy. The atmosphere was acceptional, their music taste was on point. Anddd the food, mannnn! It was delicious. I am defenitly comming back.

Kickin’ Inn offered tasty seafood with bold flavours and fun vibes. The staff “ Jenna” was friendly. Great place for messy, delicious seafood feasts.

We went to dinner at the Tempest Seafood Restaurant last night and really enjoyed the place. The service was first class and the food was beautifully prepared. The prawn bug linguine was superb, the Moroccan Barra just as good. We left with our stomachs full and anticipating our next visit to taste some more of their enticing menu.

Cannot praise this restaurant and staff enough. We had planned to have our micro wedding ceremony in the park and then eat here for dinner. The weather had other plans and PJ was kind enough to let us have the ceremony in the function area of the restaurant. Everything was set up beautifully and the ceremony went without a hitch. The service was amazing our lovely waitress and the other’s made sure our group had everything we needed and we were well taken care of. The food is spectacular, all of our guests were soo impressed with the food. We had seafood platters and breads to share and then everybody ordered from the menu and raved about how delicious it all was. Thank you Tempest for saving our wedding day, we are forever grateful and will recommend you to anyone and everyone.

Fabulous dining experience, we sat on the deck overlooking the water with a great view. Service was excellent, food was nice and was offered a free soft drink when they got my order wrong.

Great service, great food and great specials. This restaurant never disappoints. We have celebrated my husband’s birthday and everything was to the perfection. Our favorite seafood restaurant. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We go here often as coffee is decent. Deliciously thick crema. Great selection of gf cakes & savouries. Beautiful when in a high tide. It does have wonderful ambience to watch the day go by. Lovely outlook to Peel Island and North Straddie beyond. Sometimes you see a cheeky pelican. We enjoy the food on the Cafe side more so than the restaurant. Lovely grassy area to grab the local fish n chips and watch the sunset.

Outstanding meal and staff. The group of young waitresses that attended to us were exceptionally polite, pleasant and efficient. Management are to be congratulated for their fostering of careers and for giving us a delightful experience. When next down from Cairns The Lighthouse will be a certainty for us. And personally I couldn’t recommend the Crumbed Flathead enough. Very generous portion, cooked to perfection. Delicious.
