3 Best Seafood Restaurants in Sydney NSW

The service was great tonight for my friend birthday! We took the lobster oysters, a great entree with tuna and ricotta cheese mixed with truffles! Also 2 fish plates! And very good wine! We will come back.

We had a lovely fish and seafood lunch here. Service was quick especially with a lot of people. Table and chairs to sit and eat and listen and watch the activity around. Doyle’s Restaurant is a short walk if you want something more fancy.

Visited here on a Sunday evening as part of weekend birthday celebration. Food and service exceptional, as well as location on the beach. Even though we walked in without a booking, staff could not have been more accomodating and friendly, despite their having worked a long day. All the seafood dishes are great, but the Whiting... wow! Will come again soon.

We had an amazing Sunday afternoon lunch at Nicks, over looking the beautiful harbour views. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, happily moving us to our preferred table. The Mussel Pot and Chili Garlic Prawn starters were absolutely delicious, with a huge portion of mussels and a delightful white wine sauce. As for the mains, the Steak with prawn and Wasabi Mash, as well as the Lobster Pasta, were both generously portioned and incredibly delicious.

Food was outstanding! Would highly recommend the chowder as it hits all the seafood notes!! The fried “everything” including catch of the day was also a nice grouping of sea fare. Location is fantastic too, close to everything and by the water! Service could have been faster/more attentive, but a great place where locals go to celebrate birthdays too.

Went to Nicks seafood for dinner on Father’s Day 2024 and had a great night out. Service was prompt, waitress interacted with our daughter and was great in looking after us, food was exceptional and delicious. The hot/cold seafood platter for two had great fresh cold seafood and fresh cooked crispy seafood and even my wife’s steak was cooked well-although was a little too rare for a medium well done steak.

We had the best night at Flying Fish! When I booked I advised that it was my daughter’s birthday that day. Upon arrival we were seated at a table with a beautiful view next to the window and the waitress immediately acknowledged my daughter’s birthday. We chose the pre theatre menu and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and very filling. After dinner we were surprised with a free dessert and a lit candle on top. Such a lovely gesture! My daughter was so happy! Thank you.

Lunch at Flying fish was delicious, very happy with the service and the food. Amazing atmosphere and the recommendation of wines was perfect.

Always a great experience at the flying fish, the food is divine and the service is second to none, lunch or dinner never dissapoints.
