3 Best Sushi in Sydney NSW

Very nice and fresh sushi at a decent price. Great portion size for what you are paying. Karage was juicy and piping hot. Only thing that was missing is the traditional Japanese greeting when guests come in. Would have liked a better view to watch the chefs make the sushi.

Sushi Hotaru in Sydney Galleries: where the fish is fresh, the staff are friendly, and the puns are on a roll! I was soy impressed with the quality of the sushi. The salmon nigiri was fin-tastic, and the tuna sashimi was off the hook. The staff were so warm and welcoming, they really made me feel like I was on a sushi roll!

I recommend visiting this one! The sushi was delicious and the seared salmon and wagyu sushi was freshly made unlike other places I’ve been. $4.80 per plate was great, especially for the salmon and other sashimi sushi dishes. Although, the sushi pieces were a bit smaller than the other sushi places we visited, but definitely still a 5 star restaurant. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived the service team were all over it. Having been in hospitality for 30 plus years it’s the best service I’ve seen for a long time. The quality of the food delivers & could not recommend it highly enough. Well done team Zushi.

Wow chefs here have quite a skill! All the dishes are prepared with detailed attention. The food is just perfectly cooked. Every bite sparks the joy in the mouth. The eggplant, the duck and the tooth fish are sensational. Definitely recommend to people who would love to have enjoyment while eating.

Zushi was a win. The sashimi was super fresh, the nigiri was spot on, and the corn ribs were such a standout, full of flavour and something a bit different. Great vibe and solid service too.

Had an amazing dinner here! Everything was fresh and beautifully presented — especially the sashimi and oysters. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sushi was so delicate and tasty. The dessert was a perfect finish to the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was really cozy. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Japanese food in Australia.

Beautiful Japanese cuisine in Sydney CBD. Totally authentic and most of the staff are from Japan. Sean provides excellent service for us and we went back again. The tuna toro is stunning and it worth with the price. All waiters are friendly and nice.

Definitely a hidden gem in Sydney! Top quality sashimi, fresh and savory. We were surprised by their hospitality as well. All the waitstaff were welcoming and friendly. Our waiter Sean has the best vibes.
