SUSHI HOTARU REVIEWS
It is a very beautiful sushi restaurant, exotic, delicious sushi flavors. The service of the staff is very good. The staff on Sunday provide good service. It makes me more impressed and will definitely come back to eat here again.
I have been here with friends many times, and we all loved the nice foods here. I posted some photos, and you can see how lovely they are :]
In the QVB which is a very convenient location! The sushi train is restocked regularly and dishes come quickly when ordered through the iPad. Great vibes (great music and good AC).

MAKOTO SUSHI BAR REVIEWS
Really delicious and fresh. The Uni Chawanmushi was what made me pick this place and it was really good. Only downside was I didn't think the premium tuna was that premium, but maybe I shouldn't compare tuna in Sydney to that of Japan. Still better quality and value than anything I can get in NZ so I was happy .
An awesome experience. We attempted to dine at another Sushi restaurant but they were not very accommodating so we chose to look elsewhere and found this amazing restaurant. Fresh ingredients and so tasty. A really inviting space and very family friendly. Staff were so engaging and attentive. The serving sizes were also very generous. The Gunkan seared scallops were excellent and the cooked tuna was also amazing. Dine here for a great experience.
Had a very pleasant dinner at Makoto. Their nigiri is fresh and we absolutely had to come back for their chawanmushi. The black sesame ice cream was good value too - creamy and a generous 3 scoops!

SUSHI E REVIEWS
I just had a dinner and a great night here. Nice environment on the top of the Establishment. Waitress was so polite helping us with our choices, easy to talk to and with a good memory. Food was cooked in front of us, which helped as well to understand exactly what we could have eaten. We spent 2 hours eating great food. The dessert suggested by our waitress was amazing! It’s an expensive restaurant but totally worth it.
Amazing dining experience, really nice service and atmosphere. Would've loved to try the Omakase but it wasn't available Monday night. We still got to sit at the bar behind the chefs and see them make the dishes and admire the technique. The tuna carpaccio and beef tartare were absolute standouts. I'd skip the hand roll next time but definitely pick a few of the nigiri pieces. The free dessert at the end is a nice touch too.
Very fresh seafood. There’s option to add salmon belly to sashimi set. The signature cocktails are lovely with a Japanese flair.
