Beautiful restaurant Very good experience. We got the tasting menu. All dishes were yummy, well presented and faultless. The staff provided prompt service even though the restaurant was full. Definitely recommended for Japanese Peruvian flavours.

My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary on a Monday night. We tried one of the set menus and everything we had was amazing! My favourites were the truffle tuna tostadas, the potato crisp huancaina and matcha cheesecake, which exhibited a wonderful blend of Japanese and Peruvian flavours. The atmosphere felt cozy, with the earthy tones and low lighting. The staff were also very friendly and attentive! We would be interested in coming back trying other items on the menu.

What a delightful restaurant. Amazing spread of a menu. Varying tasting menus to choose from, Including vegetarian tasting menu. A wide array Gluten free options to order . High standard service and food. The tastes brought me back to my travels. Definitely will be returning .

Absolutely amazing experience at Kagawa Japanese in Canberra! We initially tried their food through Uber Eats a few days ago, and despite the driver taking forever to deliver it to our hotel, the food was still incredible. That convinced us to dine in, and it did not disappoint. The food quality is outstanding, prices are reasonable, and the service is exceptional. Despite being busy, the dishes came out quickly and were beautifully prepared. This will now be our go-to Japanese restaurant whenever we visit Canberra. Highly recommend!

I really enjoy coming here. It’s the best Japanese spot local to me. Ramen is always so good! The agedashi tofu is my favourite starter and the ice lychee is the best! Very consistent service, the same great experience every time.

Very accommodating for the size of our party and the food was wonderful! Strong flavours and very filling. A great place to visit and next time we're in Canberra, we'll return!

Jenny was amazing at keeping an eye on what food was wanted as well as customer service, when I mentioned I was waiting for a certain type of sushi roll it was made for me and was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend going here for sushi, amazing food and service.

The worker who helped us was very kind and it seemed like she really put a lot of care into what she was doing! We asked about the crab Inari, they were out, but she offered to make us some right away. Sushi was very good.

Love this place. The pork gyoza is made fresh. The sushi is perfectly balanced - not too much rice. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Kids can choose what they want.
