Celebrated my wife's birthday with 5 course degustation and wine pairing. The flavours of the food were divine. Friendly service, but can improve. The pace of food coming out was okay. Expected a bit more when it comes to the meal sizes and wine, paying $125 + $60, however, it was fulfilling. The best dessert I had in a while, the taste and the presentation was top class The atmosphere was romantic, it was the effects of the lighting.
I took my mum to dinner on Saturday night for her 80th birthday. We chose the $95 menu with 3 courses. There was an excellent choice of meals and the flavours were delicious. They also brought out her desert with a candle and a little chocolate birthday sign. The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere, we didn’t have to compete with other tables to hear each other speak. The only feedback I have would be to maybe review the choice of wine by the glass. Everything was pretty stock standard, I would have loved to have seen a Chablis or a red Bordeaux. I definitely would go again!!
The place is easy to find. Parking just across the road. We were seated instantly and given complimentary bread rolls with piped butter and salt. The menu is large and accommodating. We went with degustation and Al la carte. The food came out in sync and with speed. Our servers were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious but I'm not sure if the kitchen messed up or front of house but we didn't end up getting our micro salad. Mind you we didn't chase it because we forgot and the waiter apologised later for it. Would highly recommend coming here for dinner.

One of the best restaurants in my mind and I came from Sydney. The food, the service and the atmosphere, everything is just spot on. We ordered the a la carte, the beef fillet was so perfectly done and the steak tartare was amazing!!!
Atmosphere is unique and fantastic here. Sitting by the kitchen bar is strongly recommended. I tried tiger prawn linguine two years ago. Unfortunately that dish did not appear for the following three times I came back. Also, veggie pasta seems a bit oily. That’s a pity. But the atmosphere and staff are perfect. Still want to come back.
I think we have found Canberra’s best restaurant! Celebrated here for our anniversary. Service was so amazing, friendly and helpful with suggestions for the menu. The food! Oh boy! The hotdogs are a MUST! Every single dish was absolute perfection. The cream cheese ice cream on the chocolate Bavarian was to die for and the banoffee was WOW! Thank you for an amazing night!

WATER’S EDGE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
We had a lovely dining experience at Water's Edge, made particularly special by dining inside one of your domes. It was wonderful to have such an intimate dining experience. Our waitresses were very friendly and professional. The food was amazing (the scallops and duck were superb)!! SO many little touches that were unexpectedly added that made our night that much more special. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner here last week. The service was amazing. They happily accommodated my last minute request for a solo table even though the restaurant was packed when I arrived. They even moved me to a window table when one became available. The vegetarian amuse bouche and starter were delicious, as was the palate cleanser after the mains. Shout out to Rishim who looked after me so well. Will definitely be back.
A fantastic location with great food. And it was surprisingly easy to get a table on a Friday evening. A little expensive but very good value nevertheless.
