“Dr Paul Watson graduated from the University of Queensland and completed his advanced training in cardiology at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He subsequently pursued his interests in coronary angioplasty and stenting. He undertook a two-year senior fellowship in the United States at one of the major teaching hospitals in Boston. He has particular interests in diagnosing and managing both stable coronary artery disease and acute disease with direct intervention with coronary angioplasty and stenting. Dr Watson consults widely and practices at Greenslopes Private Hospital, providing inpatient and outpatient services. Dr Watson visits the Redland Heart Centre once a week (Tuesday) for clinical appointments. He is also one of the Directors for Heart Services. He provides diagnostic reporting for both Redland and Greenslopes Heart Centres.
