3 Best Pain Management Doctors in Brisbane QLD

I was referred to Dr Chris by my GP after about 7 years of recurring lower back pain. I had tried yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, core strengthening exercises and pain killers / anti-inflammatories when I was at my worst, but still I would experience significant flare ups every 3 months or so. Since January of this year, I have had three rounds of PRP and have not had a significant flare up since the second round. In addition, I haven't had any general lower back pain and I have been able to live an active life, resuming my normal exercise regime. For those considering surgery or feel they are running out of options, I encourage you to see Dr Chris as he is a miracle worker. The only downside of this therapy is that I won't have my regular chats with Dr Chris' lovely receptionist Leah! Thanks for everything!

Dr Chris Homan has changed my life! I presented to Dr Homan with ongoing lower back pain for 11 years which interfered with my daily life , I have had two PRP injections into my SIJ joint and within a week of my first one I had no pain. I travelled overseas that week, was on a plane for 20hrs and was very active while away and suffered no pain. I am so thankful to Dr Homan, he is a wonderful empathetic Dr who explains everything and is so passionate about what he does. I can not thank Dr Homan enough for giving me a new lease on life!

I've been telling anyone who listens, if PRP is suggested to you, just say yes. I love the fact that my own cells have healed my tired ligaments. After 30 years of back pain being managed by physio, facet joint injections , epidurals, and 10 years of Ablations and Bi-lateral si joint surgery, and then L5/S1 fusion nothing worked anymore to relive my pain. Dr Thomas suggested an scs trial and it was a great success, the permanent stimulator was implanted in March 2022 and we are still working to get it as best it can be but it has helped to reduce my pain by 80 % although i have some side effects. Which we will overcome, Thank you to Dr Thomas, Dr Jabour ,Tilley the nurse and the reps for my NEVRO scs, James, Sam, Ashley, and Jan for phone support. The team at QPain when above & beyond to help me. Dr Thomas was thorough, kind & reassuring. Bethany help was beyond amazing, as I work full time and my hours are not easy to work around she easily helped me with no issues what so ever. I am grateful to have a wonderful team help me with my pain.

Very welcoming and I felt valued throughout the visit. Also the receptionist and the doctor once aware of my communication disability, worked with it in a way that I was understood and I could understand. Dr Thomas was very empathic toward my pain and took time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options. The free coffee self-service was welcoming too.

I highly recommend Dr Pendleton !!! This man is God in my eyes, he has been treating me successfully for over 10 years for chronic back pain. Surgeon's weren't willing to operate on my back until recently and pain couldn't be managed by medication. My life seemed grave with no end in sight to pain so the only way to reduce pain was RFN, this man saved my life.

Dr Pendleton did an amazing job with my procedure at the Wesley. I was moving freely and without much pain the same day, and was basically pain free within a couple of days (in the past I’ve been in pain post-procedure for up to 4 weeks!).
