Dr Jason Y Huang is a renowned gastroenterologist in Brisbane, recognised for his expertise in the field. He completed his training at Royal Brisbane and Women's and Princess Alexandra Hospital and furthered his qualifications through post-graduate fellowship experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr Huang specialises in Bariatric endoscopy, encompassing primary weight loss procedures, revisional procedures to address weight regain post-bariatric surgery, and the management of bariatric post-surgical complications. He has a management of iron deficiency anemia, including small bowel cases with balloon-assisted enteroscopy. Dr Huang's subspecialty interests include Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for managing pancreatic and bile duct diseases. He has made significant contributions to the field, publishing extensively on reflux, colonic polyps/neoplasia, quality assurance, pancreaticobiliary diseases, and novel endoscopic techniques. Dr Huang has authored book chapters and has been invited to contribute to journals and textbooks, both nationally and internationally. He attained the status of Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology in recognition of his significant contributions to gastroenterology.
