Dr Alex Alexander completed his MBBS at the University of Queensland and received a Master of Health Administration from the University of New South Wales. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). He specialises in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery, also at the University of New South Wales. Dr Alexander serves as a clinical lecturer at the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Medical Association, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), Avant Medical Indemnity, Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society, and Fertility Society of Australia. He has safely delivered over 4,000 babies to joyful mothers over 25 years. He is interested in laparoscopic surgery and the surgical management of endometriosis, fibroids, and uterine dysfunctions. Recently, he added vaginal laser rejuvenation for treating vaginal atrophy to his repertoire of procedures.
