3 Best Hotels in Ballarat VIC

Absolutely exceptional motel this is the place to go for your next trip to Ballarat, clean and wonderful rooms, we stayed for 6 day and every day was exceptional from the immaculate , clean rooms, to the facilities, heated pool spa sauna, pool ,tennis court, and table tennis, not to mention the red lion hotel that has 5 star food, great room service great coffee, what more can I say ,simply the best ,would highly recommend for you next trip, we felt so welcome.

Fantastic location, close to Soverign Hill and City Centre! Less than 10 minutes to the Tram museum and Botanical gardens. We stayed in adjoining rooms, a family of four, and we had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool, pickle ball and table tennis! Great facilities and very friendly staff. Best part was the one minute walk for brekky, lunch or dinner at the adjoining restaurant.

We stayed in Ballart especially to take my 7 year old son to Sovereign Hill. Sovereign Park was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and beds comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed here when it was a Novotel, what an improvement it has changed to. Stayed in the studio/family room, which had a microwave, sink, and quality tea and coffee options. There are no cooking items in room except for the microwave and plates on request. A spar bath was included. There is plenty of room for that extra kid. The restaurant was well priced, and good options were available.

The rooms are cosy, clean and equipped for a couple of nights stay. The two restaurants are lovely for a snack or full meal and the breakfast buffet is a must if staying here. They offer a rang of activities for adults and children. Creswick is just down the road with a fabulous antique shop that has just recently opened.

This resort and golf course is beautiful. The staff were all amazing but we would especially like to thank Zac in the Golf Shop and the effervescent Patrick in the restaurant. The food was lovely. The breakfast buffet was bountiful. If only it hadn’t rained but you can’t control that.

Our team recently held a two-day conference at this hotel, and I can't say enough about how smoothly everything went. From the impeccable service to the excellent location and comfortable rooms, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Michelle was a standout; she not only answered all our questions but also went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Special thanks to Ashleigh and Rachelle from the reservations team, who were incredibly patient and helpful despite a few last-minute changes. Highly recommended!

I attended a conference at the Mercure with the amazing Hon Julie Bishop. The food was amazing, especially the roasted Luv-a-Duck breast with broccolini and beetroot with duck fat potato. How they managed to cook it just perfectly for 400 people. incredible. great venue.

Rooms were nice and clean but in need of a refurbishment . The bathroom was a good size , I just don't like it when the shower is in the bath . The buffet breakfast was lovely . The location was pretty good as there was a pub just next door .
