3 Best Nursing Homes in Ballarat VIC

Our mother lived in the Estia Mount Clear RACF for the last two years of her (very long) life. We were hugely impressed by the compassionate and generous care she was given. She enjoyed mealtimes in the dining room and constantly praised the food. She enjoyed the exercise classes, book club and visits in her room from the care staff and others who dropped in. She especially enjoyed visits from people who brought in their dogs and other animals. The palliative care she received at the end of her life was excellent. We can't thank the staff at Estia Mount Clear enough.

Beautifully run facility , very clean, great covid safety procedures before you enter . Rooms are quiet large all staff friendly , residents seem comfortable and happy ,and food is very presentable and appealing.

Very good place for seniors. Staff are easy to deal with & covid protocols are reasonable to keep everyone safe.

We went to Mercy Place to spend Xmas lunch with my mother who is a resident there. The lunch we all shared went way above our expectations. The care and thought that went into decorating the table included wine, xmas decorations, soft drink. The food was incredible, 5 vegetables, beautifully prepared, 3 different meats and 3 different sauces. Ravi and Chris were super attentive of our needs and those of the residents, the roast potatoes were incredible. It's the nicest Xmas lunch we have experienced and a wonderful way to spend this feast day with a loved one. The staff in Mercy Place are always so attentive to my mother's needs so we say thanks a million Mercy Place.

The nicest looking care home I've ever seen, not that I've seen a lot, but it is so well appointed, and I did ask a couple of the residents what they thought and they think it's great.

It is a lovely house for elderly people. They have a cafe and a very tallented hairdresser. The general public re able to get their hair cut and styled by a very lovely lady.

After years of fantastic care Staff here were unbelievable during the last few days of my grandmother's life. The family couldn't have asked for any better care and attention not only to make those last few days comfortable for Grandma but also members of the family who were sitting with her.

Of course this historical building is such a great asset to Ballarat.The residential buildings are very modern and well renovated to meet our current requirements.The active presence of the Sisters of Nazareth gives a very spiritual aspect to the care of the elderly.

The most beautiful and homely facility with caring and knowledgeable staff who treat my treasured neighbour like family. I always feel so reassured when going to visit. Thank you.
