3 Best Hotels in Port Macquarie NSW

We only stayed for one night at the Mid Pacific but our experience had us wanting to stay longer! We stayed in the Pacific Suite and the balcony attached to the room was a lovely size and gave us a great view of the waterfront where we took our tea in the evening and morning. The water pressure and heat in the shower was exactly what our chilled bodies needed after a long day of travel. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as a grocery store that was open late. Ian and Donna were fantastic and personable with our check in and check out. We'd love to stay again and lounge by the lovely poolside.

Wonderful short stay, 2nd time we’ve stayed. Great location, clean room, bed was firm which is fine if you have the right pillow. I know it’s hard to cater to everyone but maybe a variety of pillow even that you could request might be welcomed. Wouldn’t stop me from staying again would just bring my own.

I stay here regularly for work. The rooms are clean, and the location is fantastic. I have stayed in quite a few, and every room I've stayed in has a view of the river. As you would expect, the Pacific Suite has the best views, and they are stunning. The value for money here is very, very good.

A wonderful and relaxing weekend away with friends! Staff were very professional and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Very impressed by Barretts restaurant for brekkie, dinner and cocktails. The pool area is modern and beautifully landscaped. Great location on a quiet beach and 5min drive to The Entrance. Hope to return soon.

Stayed at Sails Port Macquarie whilst in town for work. Stayed in a few places around port now and this is probably one of the better ones. It’s a nice place to stay. Rooms are big enough, clean, comfortable and quiet. Shower was good. Bit on the pricier side but it’s reasonably priced for the quality. Restaurant didn’t look that appealing so I went somewhere else. All in all would recommend!

Lovely place, normally a bit too massive for us, but it's a bit like having your own apartment. The shower is amazing and so are the beds, maybe because we were at Aussie Ark in a non-insulated cabin and it was cold. It is a bit of very welcome luxury and we enjoyed it very much.

I had hassles with the power in my room, and had to change rooms, then change back, which was all rather tedious. It was school holidays when I stayed there, and the noise from the pool was quite loud; I realise it was just kids having fun, but it was a bit distracting when I was trying to work. I'm not sure I'd stay here again. The rooms did have a nice view over the sea.

Nice hotel in a semi-central position (close enough to the central precinct, but quiet street), friendly and helpful staff, great facilities including heated indoor pool and warm spa just outside. On a cold, windy and rainy day that's totally a game changer! Room clean and comfortable, with a great ocean view from a generous balcony, cosy bed, and an extra desk. Has fridge and tee/coffee making facilities, no microwave though. Complimentary secure carpark. Totally worth the price! Hope to visit it again, in better weather, and explore the surroundings properly :)

This was a great place to stay in Port Macquarie. The room was very spacious, with a lovely balcony. The pool, spa and sauna were fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel.
