My parents completed a 4-week respite stay at Homewood Gardens and it was wonderful - couldn't have gone smoother. My parents were treated with respect, dignity and genuine care. The place itself actually feels more like home than a facility because of the warm environment created and fostered by the team. The staff were ALL very friendly, highly capable and overly accommodating to ensure my parents' needs were being met, including their emotional well-being. I dealt mainly with Tom Pembroke who is truly a genuine, good person. He is very positive and responsive, nothing is too much trouble. Rhea, the RN, is a delight to deal with - highly knowledgeable, sweet and friendly. I can honestly say that I highly recommend Homewood Care to provide sincere, real care for your loved one.

Working at Homewood care has been a rewarding experience. The environment here is incredibly supportive and feels like a big family. Everyone, from the management to the staff, is dedicated to providing the best care possible for our residents. It's not just a job; it's about making a positive difference in people's lives every day. The teamwork and camaraderie make it a great place to work, and I'm proud to be part of such a caring community. I highly recommend homewood care to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated with most care and respect.

Homewood Care is truly outstanding. The home itself and the entire staff are great, creating a warm and caring environment. But what really makes Homewood Care stand out is Tom, the Customer Service Manager. Tom consistently goes above and beyond, providing a level of service that truly exceeds expectations. He's incredibly attentive and one of the best at what he does. I can't recommend Homewood Care enough for anyone looking for a quality place for their loved ones.

Mum moved into Casa Mia & has taken a while to settle, but Ranju and her amazing Team have been very supportive & made her feel so welcome. She loves all the staff & greets them with warm big hugs everyday. Dad also has now moved in and staff have been supportive in his transition. The gardens are beautiful and calming for both residents and visitors with pigeons and a friendly cat. Feels like Home.

The atmosphere at Casa Mia is highly supportive and safe, and residents are interacting with each other happily in a positive manner. We residents and family members are provided with stability under such great leadership. We are confident that our loved ones are in good hands. At Casa Mia, you’ll find excellent lifestyle activities and staff that are highly skilled, compassionate and caring.

What a wonderful place to call home. I went with a friend to visit her mother and I must say that Casa Mia is a place I would choose. Beautiful outdoor gardens, residents participate in activities with their families or participate in outdoor show events, adorable puppies and cats entertain the residents, as well as dances and barbecue. Cultural diversity, full of love and respect, evidently present at Casa Mia. Having met Renju the Manager, she is such an easy person to understand and help with great empathy, as well as staff members who are highly professional in their respective capacities. Casa Mia will definitely be my first choice when I need assistance.

My brother was recently at Huntingdon Gardens for two weeks of respite/palliative care before he sadly passed away. At all times we found the care facility to be very clean, well run, and well staffed. In particular, we found all staff were very pleasant, helpful, and efficient - during our initial review of the facility as well as during our daily visits and the final stages of my brother's life. His room had a very nice full width view of sky and trees. We are pleased to have chosen the facility over two others we considered at the time.

My husband Dennis came to Huntigdon Gardens 4 months ago after spending 3 months in hospital with a staph infection. He was very ill when he arrived, being on oxygen and unable to get out of bed. He has had wonderful care here treated very well by all the nursing staff. He has been getting physio treatment from the gym and is now off oxygen, using a wheelchair, able to walk short distances and get to the bathroom to look after himself. Because of the good care he will be able to return home in a couple of weeks. The food is very good as well. Carolyn Gates
