3 Best Hotels in Geelong VIC

This hotel is perfectly located opposite Eastern Beach. It's walking distance to shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Our balcony room was directly opposite the beach, and we often sat on the spacious balcony just taking in the glory of a sunset, and occasionally a sunrise. The room was comfortable with good amenities. We also ate in the Tempo restaurant, which had a good menu choice. We booked dinner for 7pm, but we weren't made aware the kitchen closes at 8.30pm, and were left sitting waiting for our waiter to clear our table so we could order desert (the waiters were nowhere to be found after 8.20pm). Fortunately we found a staff member who went into the kitchen and brought back two deserts for us to take to our room. That's good service! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return in the near future.

We had a group of 23 stay here a couple of months back for a work training trip. Great location on the foreshore, with plenty of eating options within walking distance. Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The buffet breakfast is quality. The restaurant is spacious and modern. We had dinner one night upstairs in a function space with deck and views to the bay. Would recommend to others and stay here if in the area in the future. Emily B and Olivia R in the functions team were both great to deal with. Well done Novotel Geelong team!

From arriving in the pouring rain to leaving in the sunshine, service was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks and breakfast offered a great variety.

Booked this accommodation for 3 nights (1st May till 4th May 2024) Checked-in was done smoothly. There’s onsite parking available. Only concern is we need to lug our heavy luggages up the staircase. Thank God, it was only one floor up. A bit of noise from the traffic, as our room was facing the main road. However, we loved the room; nice, spacious, sofa, comfy bed, well equipped with microwave oven, toaster, jug kettle and varieties of option for tea and coffee. Housekeeping was done daily! Location wise: Easy access to nearby Gardens and Art Gallery. Can easily walk around if you do not want to drive. Will definitely recommend friends to stay here if they’re in Geelong!

Easy check in process, helping reception, parking facility available, breakfast at 17 aud, cleanliness maintain, freeze, micro wave,tea coffee kettle kept, extra blankets,clean toilet and towels, napkins,hot water shower.

The room is great. There are plenty of pillows. The bed is a little bit hard. I had some difficulty chasing up my access to the after-hours key safe. I had to arrive after 6pm, the closing time of their reception. I had to call twice code to get the access code for the key safe.

We stayed in this delightful.clean and comfortable Best Western motor inn in Geelong we have ever been in .the room was very very clean .and the property manager was so very helpful as this is our 2 Nd time visit for a overnight stay from Tasmania .my husband was taken to a nearby hospital with bad vertigo. He was so concerned for us both. So we managed to get another few days stay . While my husband recovers thank you once again .your hospitality has not gone with out notice .

The staff were exceptional and accommodated our caravan for parking. We as a family loved the pool, spa and room. Great location. ||Residents were polite and friendly. Made our night before boarding the boat easy

We stayed here the night before jumping on the Spirit of Tasmania. Room was large, clean, and well appointed. Very comfortable. Great shower. Quiet location with no road noise.
