3 Best Nursing Homes in Geelong VIC

I help out do the dishes in kitchen hand there sometimes through an agency today second time today the chef is amazing I may not be a fast learner it takes or time to learn the chef is very friendly helpful and understandable he gives everyone a chance even when learning slow :) the managers are great there also very helpful :) thank you for teaching me a lot in the two days I still have a lot to learn :)

Staff are friendly where my Dad is. Have bands different activities. They can go outside with lovely bench chairs and music on in the background .Beautiful gardens too walk around . Staff are very caring and kind.

Central location in town, free parking in basement and friendly staff.

Reason I gave this rating is - the culture of this place is really good & it is not for profit - buyer beware the big business ones ! We moved my Beautiful Mum here nearly 2 years ago due to bad experience elsewhere- the staff are all so kind , caring & amazing & go above & beyond for their residents , this includes all staff -kitchen cooks lovely meals & they have special activities & afternoon teas run by dedicated activities staff . Your loved one will be able to be seen by other health care professionals who come to the facility if required. Very pretty well maintained established gardens . Their communicaton is excellent- lovely dedicated night staff . Thankyou so much Kalkee Uniting.

I cannot fault Kalkee. They cared for both my Nana and Aunty and the staff are truly amazing and caring. My Nana ran aged care facilities and didn't want to end up in one but she loved Kalkee. The staff have compassion and not only care about the resident, but also the family.

Highton Gardens Aged Care really do put their residents first. My Father has been there for 16 months and has found the support workers and Nurses to be friendly and of great support to him. I highly recommend this facility for any family wanting this necessary support for a loved one

Transition into aged care at Highton Gardens Care Community has been a positive experience for my parents. Firstly starting as a trial with respite care then making the decision to stay permanently because of the caring supportive environment provided by all the staff. This home has a great culture where the residents well being is of the highest priority. Very happy family here
