Without hesitation I would thoroughly recommend Dr Allan Clarke to anyone that requires the services of a great Orthopaedic surgeon. He has performed total knee replacements on both my knees, 3 years apart. My last surgery was complicated by a fall (my fault) in the hospital and Dr Clarke personally came into the hospital late at night and re-sutured the wound. Both my knees are now pain free and doing what they should. He is a both brilliant surgeon and a very caring doctor.

I am in my late 70s, and I had been been suffering for over a year with persistent day and night severe pain in my right shoulder. Medication and CT guided injections were not helping. Dr Clarke suggested a key-hole surgical procedure, and it has changed my daily life dramatically. On day 2 post-op I had complete range of movement without any pain whatsoever. Absolutely incredible. I did not expect such an immediate response, and I have had no pain going forward. Dr Clarke was very understanding and caring and his staff were always their to answer questions. To anyone contemplating shoulder surgery, I feel confident in recommending Dr Clarke and his team.

Dr Allan Clarke has transformed my life - it is SO great to have my mobility back and living life to the fullest again, pain free. I had Bilat Partial Knee Replacements and work as a Painter/Decorator. Now back at work, and only wish I had the procedure years ago. Thanks Dr Clarke! Great job.

Dr Maclean has operated on me seven times to include shoulder reconstructions and knee replacements. My first operation was to reattach three hamstrings that were ripped from my pelvis. The first ortho I consulted told me that if I was an elite athlete, he would consider operating but in my case I should just let the leg adjust to the injury. This did not sit well with me and so I sought a second opinion from Doug. In stark contrast to the first ortho, Doug advised that my injury was repairable but he wanted to operate within 24 hours to avoid complications with scar tissue etc. The operation was a complete success and despite sporting a "dueling scar" in the crease of my buttock, I would not be aware of the original injury. This example speaks volumes about Dr Maclean's professionalism, care and skills which I later experienced with the other operations.

Recently had the good fortune to have Dr Maclean do some magic on my knee. Out of pain the day after surgery and back on track within a fortnight. A pleasant experience during the entire process, would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone who has any joint problems at all.

I have had an amazing outcome with a full knee replacement thanks to Dr Maclean and his team. 12 weeks post op and I have my life back. I cannot recommend Dr Maclean and his team highly enough.
