“Dr Tim Nathan is an experienced and skilled Urological Surgeon who has been operating on the Sunshine Coast since 2006. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. He did specialist training in all aspects of adult urology at London teaching hospitals, including St Peter's Hospital (The Institute of Urology). He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr. Tim Nathan strives to combine his patience, compassion, and vast urological surgery experience with the latest minimally invasive, state-of-the-art techniques to provide high-quality treatment. He specialises in Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, and Erectile Dysfunction. He performed approaching 1000 complex major operations. Dr Tim is an expert in the diagnosis and management of urological cancers. Since 2014, Tim has been performing Da Vinci Robotic Surgery to remove prostate and kidney cancer at the Wesley Hospital. He has published scientific papers on photodynamic therapy for prostate cancer and on laser prostatectomy for benign prostatic enlargement.
